"Skripsi ini menyelidiki bagaimana kondisi spasial yang fragmented dan disjunctive memicu rekonstruksi naratif melalui movement dalam spatial storytelling. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana pengguna melakukan bridging ruang-ruang yang terputus melalui movement sebagai praktik aktif untuk merekonstruksi spatial fragments menjadi narasi yang bermakna. Studi ini dipandu oleh pertanyaan bagaimana ruang disjunctive yang fragmented memicu rekonstruksi naratif melalui movement dalam spatial storytelling. Kerangka teoritis skripsi ini mengacu pada tiga konsep utama. Fragments sebagai elemen spasial otonom yang dikomposisi oleh strategi disjunction sebagai ketegangan produktif antar fragments yang memicu pencarian keterhubungan. Movement, sebagai praktik aktif pengguna yang memicu delinquency sebagai tindakan menghasilkan makna melalui eksplorasi yang tidak linier. Terakhir, frontiers dan bridges untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pengguna membentuk batas dan sambungan antar fragments sebagai proses rekonstruksi narasi. Studi Ini menggunakan Outer Wilds sebagai studi kasus yang menggambarkan kondisi dalam praktik untuk mengamati dan menganalisis bagaimana lingkungan yang fragmented dan tidak stabil, memaksa pemain baru untuk merekonstruksi narasi melalui eksplorasi, memori, dan transversal berulang. Studi ini mengungkap bagaimana ruang disjunctive yang fragmented mengembangkan proses naratif yang adaptif dan partisipatif di mana koherensi muncul melalui negosiasi yang berkelanjutan alih-alih solusi yang pasti; menjadikan fragmentation dan disjunction sebagai syarat untuk menghasilkan narasi melalui gerakan dan interpretasi.

This undergraduate thesis investigates how fragmented and disjunctive spatial conditions provoke narrative reconstruction through movement in spatial storytelling. The study aims to understand how users engage in bridging disconnected spaces through movement as an active practice to reconstruct spatial fragments into meaningful narratives. This study is guided by the proposition that fragmented disjunction spaces provoke narrative reconstruction through movement in spatial storytelling. The theoretical framework of this thesis draws on three main concepts. Fragments are understood as autonomous spatial elements composed through the strategy of disjunction, a productive tension between fragments that prompts the search for connectivity. Movement is framed as an active user practice that generates delinquency as a deviant mode of exploration that produces meaning through non-linear trajectories. Lastly, frontiers and bridges are used to describe how users define boundaries and construct connections between fragments as part of the narrative reconstruction process. This study uses Outer Wilds as a case study that illustrates the conditions in practice to observe and analyze how a fragmented and unstable environment compels new players to reconstruct a narrative through exploration, memory, and repeated traversal. The study reveals how fragmented disjunctive space develops an adaptive and participatory narrative process where coherence emerges through ongoing negotiation rather than a fixed solution, making fragmentation and disjunction the very condition for generating narratives through movement and interpretation."

"Storytelling merupakan bagian dari teknik branding yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengembangkan destinasi. Namun, penelitian tentang pengaruh destination story terhadap perubahan dinamis dari citra destinasi (kognitif dan afektif) selama krisis Covid-19 masih kurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran narrative engagement dalam membangun citra positif destinasi dan behavioral intentions selama krisis Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dari 769 responden dengan kriteria tertentu melalui scenario-based survey. Ada beberapa tahapan analisis pada awal penelitian untuk mengembangkan cerita destinasi. Penelitian menggunakan structural equation modelling untuk menganalisis hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa authenticity, conciseness, dan reversal cerita destinasi mempengaruhi pembentukan narrative engagement. Citra destinasi memediasi hubungan antara narrative engagement dan behavioral intention. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis untuk pemasaran pariwisata

Storytelling is part of a branding technique that can be applied to develop destinations. However, there is a lack of investigation of the destination story's effect on the dynamic change of destination image (cognitive and affective) during the Covid-19 crisis. This study aims to determine the role of narrative engagement in building a positive image of destinations and behavioral intentions during the Covid-19 crisis. This study used primary data collected from 769 respondents with specific criteria via a scenario-based survey. There are several stages of analysis at the beginning of the study to develop the destination stories. This research conducted structural equation modeling to analyze the hypotheses. The results indicate that authenticity, conciseness, and reversal of the story influence the narrative engagement formation. The destination image mediates the relationship between narrative engagement and behavioral intention. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to tourism marketing"
