"Kegagalan dalam masa transisi bisnis ke generasi selanjutnya menjadi sebuah permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh bisnis keluarga. Pengadopsian nilai-nilai bersama yang tepat dan benar dapat membawa bisnis keluarga untuk bertahan dalam masa transisi generasi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hubungan antara nilai-nilai bersama terhadap kinerja suksesi dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Penelitian ini melakukan pengolahan data dari 205 responden Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) berbasis bisnis keluarga di wilayah Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi, dan Tangerang.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor nilai-nilai bersama yang memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap kinerja suksesi secara berurutan adalah nilai kelangsungan hidup (0,55) dan nilai interpersonal (0,33). Ini dapat menjadi bahan acuan untuk UMKM berbasis bisnis keluarga untuk dapat mempersiapkan sebelum dilakukannya suksesi atau bertahan di masa transisi generasi.

Failure in the period of transition to the next generation become a common problem faced by family business. Adoption of exact shared values can bring family business to survive in period of transition generation.
This study aim to obtain relationship between shared values and succession performance by using Structural Equation Modeling. The samples of this research are 205 SME's based family business in Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi, and Tangerang.
The result of this study indicates that shared values have the strongest impact on succession performance sequentially are survival values (0,55) and interpersonal values (0,33). It can be a reference for SME’s based family business to be able to prepare before execute the succession or survive in the period of transition generation.
