"This book provides a comprehensive review of how digital communication technology can help families network and communicate across generations, despite differences in family composition, residential location, cultural values and orientations. Covering the full spectrum of intergenerational relations (including child to parent, and parent to grandparent), it offers a positive view of the value of digital technology usage within families.The author focuses on three European countries: Finland, Italy and Slovenia, but also touches on other European countries and parts of the United States, revealing evidence that challenges ideas of universal adoption of information communication technology (ICT) and consistency in the social effects of such adoption in different regions and cultures. Artikel ini membahas konsep one-state solution yang dapat dianggap sebagai alternatif untuk mengatasi konflik antara Palestina dan Israel serta tantangan-tantangan dalam mewujudkan gerakan one-state solution terhadap para pendukungnya. Tujuannya adalah untuk melihat persoalan solusi konflik Palestina-Israel secara lebih mendalam serta mengukur sejauh mana konsep one-state solution dapat menjadi sebuah gerakan politik yang jelas bagi rakyat Palestina. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menilai potensi perkembangan gagasan one-state solution sebagai gerakan politik bagi masyarakat Palestina dalam mewujudkan hak-hak yang tak terlindungi oleh two-state solution, serta berkontribusi untuk mencarikan usulan pemecahan atas persoalan Palestina-Israel. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan metode penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka, pengumpulan data yang memusatkan sumbernya pada penggunaan buku-buku dan literatur-literatur lainnya sebagai objek yang utama. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah konsep one-state solution dapat dijadikan gerakan politik internasional yang dapat dipertimbangkan, untuk setidaknya menjamin kesetaraan hak bagi seluruh rakyat Palestina.

This article discusses the concept of the one-state solution, which can be considered an alternative to addressing the conflict between Palestine and Israel, as well as the challenges in realizing the one-state solution movement among its supporters. The goal is to explore the matter of resolving the Palestine-Israel issue more profoundly and evaluate the potential for the one-state solution to emerge as a distinct political movement for the Palestinian people. This research is expected to assess the potential for developing the idea of a one-state solution as a political movement for the Palestinian people in realizing rights that are not protected by the two-state solution, as well as contributing to finding proposals for solutions to the Palestinian-Israeli problem. This research applies a descriptive qualitative research method using a literature review approach, with data collection primarily focusing on the use of books and other literature as the main sources. The result of this research is that the one-state solution concept can be considered as an international political movement to at least ensure equal rights for all Palestinian people.

"Fase utama dari migrasi Hadrami (pertengahan abad ke-18 hingga ke-20) telah mendapat perhatian ilmuwan-ilmuwan dari berbagai latar belakang disiplin. Berdasarkan atas hasil karya ilmiah inidan mengacu pada teori-teori kontemporer di bidang Antropologi mengenai diaspora masyarakat dan hubungan-hubungan antarbangsa serta penelitian terbaru di Indonesia dalam tiga tahun terakhir, artikel ini memfokuskan pada hubungan-hubungan dikalangan Hadramis dan pandangan-pandangan Hadhramaut. Dengan berkonsentrasi pada topik ini, perbandingan akan dibuat antara fase utama dari pembentukan diaspora dan Indonesia pasca kolonial sekarang ini."

"Vaksin HPV (Human papillomavirus) di klaim dapat melindungi manusia dari kanker serviks. Namun, banyak orang yang terpengaruh oleh kampanye negatif yang disebarkan oleh kelompok anti vaksin HPV di Twitter. Mereka menuding bahwa perusahaan farmasi atau industri vaksin, praktisi medis, bahkan pejabat negara yang terkait dengan vaksin tersebut memiliki motif tersembunyi untuk mendapatkan keuntungan dari penjualan vaksin tersebut. Selain itu, mereka juga menuding bahwa menggunakan vaksin HPV adalah tindakan yang salah dalam segi moral karena berpotensi memicu terjadinya pergaulan bebas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi persuasif yang digunakan oleh kelompok anti vaksin HPV dalam meyakinkan masyarakat bahwa vaksin HPV hanyalah untuk keuntungan saja dan tidak sesuai dengan nilai moral atau agama. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tweets yang berkaitan dengan anti vaksin HPV yang tersebar di Amerika Serikat dan Inggris yang dikumpulkan menggunakan perangkat lunak Keyhole mulai dari 5 Oktober 2018 hingga 5 Oktober 2019. Teori retorika dari Aristoteles, teori disonansi kognitif dari Festinger, dan teori hierarki kebutuhan dari Maslow adalah tiga teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi persuasif, yang meliputi ethos, pathos, logos, disonansi kognitif, dan kebutuhan akan keamanan, digunakan oleh kelompok anti vaksin HPV untuk mempengaruhi dan meyakinkan beberapa orang agar percaya bahwa vaksin HPV hanya didistribusikan untuk keuntungan dan tidak sesuai dengan ajaran agama serta keyakinan mereka.

The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine can protect humans from cervical, anal, oropharyngeal, penile, vulvar, and vaginal cancer. However, many people are influenced by the negative campaign carried out by anti-HPV vaccine activists on Twitter. They accuse pharmaceutical companies or the vaccine industry, medical practitioners, and even state officials associated with the vaccine of having an ulterior motive to gain profit from the vaccine. Moreover, they also claim that taking the HPV vaccine is an act of moral depravity, as it may potentially encourage sexual promiscuity. This research aims to analyze the persuasive strategies used by the anti-HPV vaccine campaign in convincing people that the vaccine is only a matter of profit and does not conform with moral or religious values. The data for this research, which comprises anti-HPV vaccine tweets in United States and United Kingdom, are collected using Keyhole from October 5, 2018 to October 5, 2019. Aristotle’s rhetorical strategies, Festinger’s cognitive dissonance theory, and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs serve as the theoretical frameworks of this study. This research finds that persuasive strategies, which include ethos, pathos, logos, cognitive dissonance, and the need for safety, are used by the anti-HPV vaccine campaign to successfully sway some people into believing that the vaccine is only distributed for monetary gain and incompatible with their beliefs."
