"This study identifies the factors that have a direct effect on a manager’s decision towards Open
Source System (OSS) enterprise system adoption in Malaysia. Using the Technology-Organization-
Environment (TOE) framework, the research is initiated by inviting the managers in Malaysian organizations
who implemented OSS. A survey was conducted via online OSS social communities and
by sending emails to shortlisted public. A total of 124 managers from 124 organizations responded
to the survey and the results showed that four out of six factors were found significant in this study.
In the technological context, ‘perceived relative advantage’, ‘perceived compatibility and trialability’
and ‘perceived complexity’ factors were found significant in the OSS adoption. In the organizational
context, ‘management support, knowledge and expertise’ was identified as the adoption factor.
Two factors in the environmental context that was not supported were the ‘technology skills and
services’ and ‘platform long term viability’ although previous studies suggested otherwise."

"Perawat merupakan salah satu pekerjaan yang sangat beresiko mengalami burnout. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan burnout dengan kinerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Metropolitan Medical Centre Jakarta.
Desain penelitian ini adalah deskripsi korelasi dengan responden sebanyak 110 orang yang dipilih dengan metode simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah kuesioner modifikasi Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) dan kuesioner Rivai.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara Burnout dengan Kinerja Perawat di Rumah Sakit Metropolitan Medical Centre (p value = 0,018; α = 0,05). Tingkat burnout yang dialami perawat termasuk kategori sedang, dan kinerja yang dicapai oleh perawat dalam kategori kinerjanya baik, menggambarkan bahwa perawat bekerja secara profesional meskipun mengalami burnout tingkat sedang.
Penelitian ini menyarankan rumah sakit agar memperhatikan tingkat kejenuhan untuk menghindari pengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat.

Nurses are one of the professions vulnerable to burnout. This study aim is to determine the relationship between burnout and nurses work performance at Metropolitan Medical Centre Hospital, Jakarta.
The research design of this study was descriptive-correlation with 110 samples selected using simple random sampling technique. Research instrument was modified Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and Rivai Questionnaire.
Study result showed a significant relationship between burnout and the work performance of nurses at Metropolitan Medical Centre Hospital (p value = 0,018; α = 0,05). Burnout level of nurses was moderate, and nurses showed good work performance.
This finding suggested nurses work professionally despite the level of burnout was moderate. It is recommended to hospitals to regard the level of burnout to avoid influence on nurses work performance.

"Belum maksimalnya kegiatan pemasaran di RS MMC mengakibatkan sedikitnya jumlah pasien baru dibandingkan dengan pasien lama rawat jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan gambaran karakteristik konsumen rawat jalan untuk menjadi dasar analisis penetapan segmen, target dan posisi layanan rawat jalan RS MMC. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner pada pasien rawat jalan RS MMC bulan April- Mei 2013 sejumlah 110 responden dan wawancara mendalam dengan informan pihak manajemen RS MMC. Kerangka konsep penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan segmentasi geografis, demografis dan psikografis, kemudian dilakukan penetapan target dan posisi.
Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa pasien layanan rawat jalan RS MMC tahun 2013 terbagi menjadi tiga segmen konsumen yaitu Loyal Veteran Customers, Urban Rookie Customers dan Urban Mommies Customer yang juga merupakan target pasar rawat jalan RS MMC kedepannya. Posisi layanan rawat jalan RS MMC adalah pilihan utama di wilayah Jakarta Selatan, Timur dan Pusat yang menyediakan pelayanan holistik oleh dokter subspesialis bagi upper-class urban worker dan keluarga yang berusia produktif dengan nilai utama patient safety, patient satisfaction dan patient trust. Sesuai dengan segmen dan target pasar, RS MMC perlu mengembangkan Esthetic Center bagi Urban Mommies Customer, Express Clinic bagi Urban Rookie Customers dan Family Center bagi target keluarga urban.

The marketing activities in MMC Hospital has not reached maximum poin that has been targeted and has resulted least number of new patients compared to number of old patients of outpatient services. This study aims to picture on consumer characteristics of outpatient services base on the determination of segment analysis, targeting and positioning MMC Hospital outpatient services. This research is quantitative and qualitative research by distributing questionnaires in MMC Hospital outpatient services from April-May 2013 which consist of 110 respondents and in-depth interviews with informants MMC Hospital management officers as informants. This study uses conceptual framework by approaching to geographic, demographic and psychographic segmentation, then conducted targeting and positioning.
The results illustrate that the patients MMC Hospital outpatient services in 2013 is divided into three segments, which are Loyal Veteran Customers, Urban Rookie Customers and Urban Mommies Customer which is also the target of MMC Hospital outpatient services market in the future. MMC Hospital outpatient services location is the top choice in South Jakarta, East and Centre that provides holistic care to subspecialty physicians for urban upper-class worker and families who are in productive age with the core values of patient safety, patient satisfaction and patient trust. According to segment and market target, MMC Hospital is urged to develop Esthetic Centre for Urban Mommies Customer, Express Clinic for Urban Rookie Customers, and Family Center for urban families.

"Belum adanya gambaran tentang faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penerapan etika profesi keperawatan merupakan masalah di Rumah Sakit Metropolitan Medical Center Jakarta. Penerapan etika keperawatan yang tidak baik akan berdampak pada menurunnya mutu pelayanan keperawatan yang dapat berdampak pada pelayanan kesehatan secara keseluruhan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang penerapan etika keperawatan dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berhubungan penerapan etika profesi keperawatan oleh perawat pelaksana. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di seluruh ruangan baik di poliklinik maupun diruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Metropolitan Medical Center Jakarta dari tanggal 27 Mei 2002 sampai dengan 7 Juli 2002. Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasi bersifat cross sectional kepada 127 perawat pelaksana. Analisis yang gunakan adalah univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 50,4% perawat berperilaku etikal dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan dan 49,6% kurang etikal, yang merupakan gambaran komposit dari otonomi, tidak merugikan berbuat baik, adil, jujur, dan menepati janji. Dari hasil analisis bivariat diketahui ruang tempat kerja berhubungan secara bermakna dengan penerapan etika. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan pemahaman merupakan variabel yang paling berhubungan dengan penerapan etika setelah dikontrol dengan variabel tempat kerja.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan kepada pimpinan rumah sakit untuk mengadakan kajian tentang program pengembangan sumber daya tenaga perawat yang telah berlangsung sebelumnya serta mengadakan crash programe untuk peningkatan pengetahuan perawat tentang etika keperawatan. Kepada PSDM dan manajer keperawatan tertinggi, menengah, dan bawah disarankan perlunya penggalangan dan intensifikasi pemahaman tentang etika keperawatan, role model pelayanan keperawatan yang etik dan profesional, reinforcement/penghargaan pada perawat pelaksana yang berprestasi. Bagi Pusdiknakes dan institusi Akper untuk dapat melakukan pembenahan kurikulum dan peningkatan proses pembelajaran etika keperawatan. Bagi organisasi profesi dapat menyusun langkah-langkah profesional pembinaan etika profesi bagi perawat ditatanan pelayanan kesehatan. Bagi peneliti lain agar dilakukan penelitian sejenis dengan cakupan populasi yang lebih luas dan desain yang berbeda.

One of the problems at the Metropolitan Medical Center Hospital Jakarta is the unavailability of evidence on the factors related to the implementation of professional code of ethics. High quality of nursing care in the context of nursing service required the nurses with ethical behaviors.
The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of nursing ethics and to identity factors related to the implementation of nursing ethics by nurse providers at the MMC Hospital Jakarta. This research was implemented at all setting of services both at the out-patient and in-patient department, from 27'h May to 7th June 2002. The research utilized a descriptive correlation design and a cross sectional with quantitative research method. The numbers of respondents were 127 nurse providers out of 196 persons. The data was analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate statistical treatments.
The results showed that 50, 4% nurses had good ethical behaviors in providing nursing care, and 49, 6% were poor in ethics. The bivariate analysis revealed that work place of nurses has a significant correlation with nursing ethics implementation. While, the result of multivariate showed that the ethical comprehension of nurses was the determinant factor significantly related to implementation of ethics after controlled by workplace.
Based on the research finding, it's recommended to director of the MMC Hospital to review the existing nursing personnel development; and to conduct comprehensive training on nursing ethics for improvement of nurses' knowledge. Furthermore, recommendation is also directed to head of human resources development and nursing manager to strengthen and intensify nursing ethic internalization of nurse providers; create role model; and give reinforcement. It is also recommended to center of education for health personnel Diploma of Nursing Institution to review the curriculum; improving the learning strategy of nursing ethic. For Indonesian nurses association to develop guideline for conducive and operational supervision to nurses at workplace. More research with larger population, more variables, and using different research design.

"Lean Thinking, filosofi manajemen yang berfokus pada proses usaha, merupakan metode yang tepat untuk menganalisis alur proses pengadaan obat kemoterapi di RS MMC Jakarta. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan prinsip Lean dalam menggambarkan alur proses yang terjadi saat ini, menganalisis masalah, serta mendesain alur proses yang lebih ideal. Metode yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan observasi langsung proses yang terjadi, wawancara mendalam dengan staf terkait, serta telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada saat ini sebagian besar pengadaan obat kemoterapi di RS MMC saat ini berlangsung secara cito tanpa standar yang khusus, sehingga polanya tidak jelas. Masalah utama yang ditemukan adalah seringnya obat tidak ada di distributor utamanya dan proses koordinasi antar-unit yang rumit apabila hal ini terjadi. Alur proses terdiri dari 48 kegiatan pada proses pengadaan obat kemoterapi di RS MMC dan hanya 18% dari waktu prosesnya yang bersifat value-added. Analisis masalah dilakukan dengan menggunakan Lean Tools Value Stream Mapping (VSM), identifikasi 8 wastes, analisis akar masalah dengan metode 5 Whys, Kanban, serta konsep error-proofing. Setelah analisis akar masalah dan perumusan ide perbaikan, dilakukan desain ulang yang menghasilkan alur proses baru, terdiri dari 16 kegiatan, dengan persentase waktu value added mencapai 83%.
Lean Thinking, a management philosophy focusing on business processes, is the right method to analysis the chemotherapy drugs purchasing process at MMC Hospital Jakarta. This study applied Lean principles in mapping the current work process, analyzing problems, and redesigining a more ideal work flow. Research method used in this study is qualitative approach, by doing direct observation of the actual process, in-depth interview with staffs involved, and document study. This research showed that the current chemotherapy drugs purchasing process are done cito with no specific standard, therefore there was no clear pattern. The main problems were often not found at the main distributors, and that it would demand a very complicated coordination process. The current work process consisted of 48 activities, and only 18% of the total process time was value-added. Analysis were done with the use of Lean Tools Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 8 wastes identification, root cause analysis with 5 Whys method, Kanban, and error-proofing concept. After conducting root-cause analysis and comprising improvement ideas, a new work process was designed, consisted of 16 activites, with 83% value added time."
