Indonesian ports consist of commercial ports and non commercial ports. The development of commercial ports rsquo facilities and hinterland is more advanced than non commercial ports because commercial ports have been managed by State Owned Enterprise SOE , PT. Pelindo. The differences in facilities and hinterland generate nearly 60 of total port throughput in Indonesia ports handled by commercial ports. From 2010 2014, the total port throuhgput continues to increase. The greater number of port throughput, the higher level of development and economy occur in hinterland. Therefore, it necessary to analyze the impact of port throughput on regional economic growth using panel data regression based on Augmented Solow Growth Model on 32 provinces over the period 2010 2016. The results show that total port throughput in all ports has positive and significant impact on economic growth. However, port throughput on each type, commercial ports and non commercial ports has insignificant impact on economic growth. We can conclude that the difference in port management have not affected regional economic growth.

"This text had two
editions, several reprints, and translations in other languages. However, the different
pace of the revisions of the two volumes suggested to make them self-contained and
independent from each other. The volume covering trade was published in 1998
(second edition 2014) under the title International Trade Theory and Policy. This
is the second edition of the volume covering international finance (the first edition
was published in 2001). This new edition contains a wealth of additional material
that has been introduced thanks to the suggestions of colleagues and students and to
the comments contained in book reviews. All has been thoroughly classroom tested
in both undergraduate and graduate courses in various universities in Italy and other countries."
