The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of marriage couple with different ethnic and their migration on fertility (average of children ever born) in all regions in Indonesia by using the pair (couple) from Population Census 2010. This study is focus in four (4) ethnic, such as Aceh, Batak, Minangkabau and Bugis with the unit of analysis which is based on their wife ethnic Aceh, Batak, Minangkabau and Bugis. The results show that marriage between couples of different ethnicities have tend to lower fertility but if couples (husband and wife) marriage with intra-ethnic have the highest fertility among the other ethnic groups. The migration factors also contribute to the fertility of married couples who tend to decline fertility than not to migrate. But if the ethnic migrate to their regions with relatively high fertility, the fertility is consistently relatively high. The results of this analysis show that couple married with different ethnic and their migration are factors which can determine fertility size."

"Thee preliminary results of :lie i998 Malawi Population and
Housing Census (MPHC) indicate that the population of Malawi is 9.8
million. This _,figure is less than estimates prepared by most national and
international institutions including renowned population specialists
working an :lie population of Malawi. Nearly all-available population
projections estimated :liar ill!! population of Malawi in i993 would be
around I l million. The aforementioned discrepancy has .tome serious
consequences. Firs! :lie Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita may be
distorted in such a way as to suggest a general improvement in rite quality
of life contrary to the situation. Second, the results of the census may be
interpreted to indicate the success of me national population program
especially rite :rational family planning program. As a result of these
consequences there is need to evaluate me census results to verify whether
the reported figure is indeed correct or to provide a plausible explanation
for flue anomaly. Though not prescriptive, the paper offers plausible
explanation for :lie observed differences. In particular, me paper argues
that rite population figure obtained front the 1998 census, like most other
censuses in developing countries, were underreported.

"The Sultanate of Yogyakarta which during the struggle for Independence and subsequently has been known as the Special Region of Yogyakarta, is located in the southern part of Central Java. It constitutes much of the heartland of Javanese culture, for Yogyakarta was the centre of the pre-colonial Kingdom of Mataram. Within Yogyakarta, there is a marked contrast in the population density between Bantul and Sleman regencies on one hand, and Gunung Kidul and Kulon Progo on the other hand. The basic reason for this difference is the fact that the soil of Bantu and Sleman is primarily young and volcanic, there are also a good water supply and irrigation network. The annual rate of population growth in Yogyakarta is much lower compared to other provinces in Java. This region experienced a net loss of population through migration and that the losses were greater in the poorer areas of Gunung Kidul and Kulon Progo."
