"Mindreading merupakan kemampuan yang berguna dalam membangun hubungan interpersonal. Mindreading dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya karakteristik target. Pada penelitian eksperimen yang dilakukan terhadap 82 perempuan dewasa muda berusia 20-22 tahun ini, dibuktikan bahwa karakteristik jenis kelamin target memengaruhi kemampuan mindreading partisipan. Analisis Mixed-model ANOVA dilakukan terhadap 2 aspek alat ukur SST (Perez-Zapata, dkk., 2016) yaitu akurasi dan response time. Ditemukan bahwa perempuan lebih baik dalam melakukan mindreading terhadap target perempuan dibandingkan target laki-laki pada pengukuran aspek akurasi. Hasil yang sama tidak ditemukan pada aspek response time.

Mindreading is an ability that could be used to build interpersonal relationship. Mindreading can be affected by numerous factors, one of those is characteristic of the target. This experimental research was conducted on 82 female young adult age 20-22 years old. This study found that target's sex does impact participant's mindreading ability. Mixed-model ANOVA was used to analyse 2 aspects of SST (Perez-Zapata, et al., 2016) which is accuracy and response time. This research found that female have a better accuracy in mindreading ability towards female target. The same result does not apply to the participant's response time."
