"Search and classification using multiple autonomous vehicles provides a comprehensive study of decision-making strategies for domain search and object classification using multiple autonomous vehicles (MAV) under both deterministic and probabilistic frameworks. It serves as a first discussion of the problem of effective resource allocation using MAV with sensing limitations, i.e., for search and classification missions over large-scale domains, or when there are far more objects to be found and classified than there are autonomous vehicles available. Under such scenarios, search and classification compete for limited sensing resources. This is because search requires vehicle mobility while classification restricts the vehicles to the vicinity of any objects found. The authors develop decision-making strategies to choose between these competing tasks and vehicle-motion-control laws to achieve the proposed management scheme. Deterministic Lyapunov-based, probabilistic Bayesian-based, and risk-based decision-making strategies and sensor-management schemes are created in sequence. Modeling and analysis include rigorous mathematical proofs of the proposed theorems and the practical consideration of limited sensing resources and observation costs. A survey of the well-developed coverage control problem is also provided as a foundation of search algorithms within the overall decision-making strategies. Applications in both underwater sampling and space-situational awareness are investigated in detail. The control strategies proposed in each chapter are followed by illustrative simulation results and analysis. "

"The aim of this article was to develop an interval type-2 fuzzy permutation method for addressing multiple criteria decision-making problems under incomplete preference information. Furthermore, this article present an experimental analysis to examine the implementation efficiency and the applicable scope of the proposed method. Interval type-2 fuzzy sets are more capable than ordinary fuzzy sets of handling imprecision and imperfect information in real-world applications. This article used interval type-2 fuzzy sets to capture imprecise or uncertain decision information in fields that require multiple criteria decision analysis. Based on pairwise criterion comparisons of the alternatives using a signed distance-based approach, this article presents a concordance-discordance analysis and propose an integrated programing model in the interval type-2 fuzzy permutation method. Finally, computational experiments with enormous amounts of simulation data are designed to examine the influence of numbers of alternatives and criteria on the implementation efficiency and the applicable scope of the proposed method. "

"Tesis ini membahas tentang proses pemilihan program pemeliharaan dengan studi kasus di industri manufaktur rokok. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah multi-criteria decision-making diantaranya metode Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP dan Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS).
Tujuan dari penelitian ini selain untuk mendapatkan program pemeliharaan yang sesuai dengan kondisi manufaktur dalam industri rokok, namun juga akan mempermudah manajer pemeliharaan khususnya di industri rokok dalam menentukan pilihan jika dihadapkan pada beberapa strategi pemeliharaan.
Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan program pemeliharaan Condition-Based Maintenance CBM / Predictive Maintenance mendapat peringkat paling tinggi untuk dapat diimplementasikan dalam industri manufaktur rokok.

These paper discusses the process of selecting a maintenance program with case studies in the cigarette manufacturing industry. The method used in this research is multi criteria decision making, such as Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution TOPSIS.
The purpose of this study is to obtain a maintenance program that is appropriate to the manufacturing conditions in the tobacco industry, but will also make it easier for maintenance managers, especially in the tobacco industry to make choices if faced with some maintenance strategies option.
The result of this research ends on Condition Based Maintenance CBM Predictive Maintenance got the highest rating to be implemented in cigarette manufacturing industry.

Aktivitas logistik adalah salah satu komponen terpenting dalam aktivitas ekonomi di suatu negara. Aktivitas logistik berpengaruh terhadap harga barang, kualitas, daya saing, hingga PDB. Akan tetapi, kondisi buruk kualitas aktivitas logistik di Indonesia yang terindikasi pada skor Logistics Performance Index (LPI) yang masih tertinggal dari negara-negara tetangga menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas logistik di Indonesia belum dapat menyokong kegiatan ekonomi dengan baik. Padahal, skor LPI suatu negara dapat menentukan persepsi negara lain terhadap negara tersebut dalam sektor perdagangan, sehingga skor LPI memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa faktor-faktor yang menghambat dan yang dapat mendorong peningkatan performa logistik di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan kerangka Multi-Criteria Decision Making mengingat stakeholder yang terlibat bukan hanya pihak pelaku industri namun juga asosisasi, pemerintah, akademisi, dan lain-lain. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode gabungan DEMATEL-based ANP agar dapat mempertimbangkan pengaruh hubungan antar kriteria mengingat kriteria belum terdefinisikan secara jelas sebelumnya. Luaran dari penelitian ini menghasilkan pementaan struktur masalah serta urutan bobot kriteria sebagai prioritas yang dapat menjadi dasar dalam penyusunan solusi.


Logistics activity is one of the most important aspect in economic activities in a country, Logistics activity have an impact on price, quality, competitiveness and even GDP. However, logistics in indonesia still runs in a poor state, which is shown by their relatively low Logistics Performance Index (LPI), ranking behind neighboring countries. This shows that logistics activities in Indonesia could not yet support economic development in Indonesia optimally. LPI score have shown to have impact on a country’s image, especially in trade. The higher the LPI score, the higher the tendency for trade volume to incrase in a country. Therefore, ths research aims toidentify and analyse the underlying factors that act as a barrier and driver for Indonesia to improve their logistics performance. This research is done with a multi-criteria decision making approach, using DEMATEL-based ANP method in order to consider the relation that exist bettween the factors. Output of the research is a problem mapping and factor priority rank which can be used for decision making in the future.

"Sistem produksi dalam industri manufaktur terbagi menjadi dua jenis, yaitu strategi Make-to-stock dan Make-to-order yang dibedakan berdasarkan waktu pesanan diterima dan pelaksanaan proses produksi. Dalam sistem MTO, pesanan pelanggan menjadi pemicu untuk terjadinya proses selanjutnya dan menjadi titik kritis dari sistem. Keputusan untuk menerima dan menolak pesanan yang masuk merupakan kegiatan yang paling penting karena akan berdampak jangka panjang terhadap profitabilitas dan reputasi perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Kegiatan ini merupakan keputusan yang sangat strategis, sehingga diperlukan dukungan dalam kegiatan ini. Penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana metode penerimaan pesanan dalam strategi MTO dilakukan dan merancang penilaian penerimaan pesanan menggunakan metode MCDA sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai pendukung dalam pengambilan keputusan penerimaan pesanan. Metode AHP digunakan untuk mendapatkan prioritas faktor penerimaan pesanan dengan data yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara para pakar. Hasil AHP menunjukkan prioritas dalam menerima pesanan yaitu ketersediaan bahan baku, harga, kemampuan produksi, situasi pasar, pelanggan, target, pemenuhan pesanan, dan kondisi eksternal. EMV dihitung untuk setiap kriteria dan risiko yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk membantu membuat keputusan yang tepat dalam penerimaan pesanan. Seluruh metodelogi dalam penelitian ini dijelaskan dengan menggunakan studi di industri pelapisan baja di Indonesia. Studi tersebut menunjukkan EMV dan AHP dapat digunakan untuk memberikan penilaian kelayakan terhadap pesanan yang diterima.

The production system in the manufacturing industry is divided into two types, namely the Make-to-stock (MTS) and Make-to-order (MTO) strategies which are distinguished by the time orders are received and the execution of the production process. In the MTO system, the customer's order becomes a trigger for the next process and becomes a critical point of the system. The decision to accept and reject incoming orders is the most important activity because it will have a long-term impact on the overall profitability and reputation of the company. This activity is a very strategic action, so support is needed in this activity. This study investigates how the method of receiving orders in the MTO strategy is carried out and designs an assessment of order acceptance using the MCDA method so that it can be used as a support in making orders for acceptance decisions. The AHP method was used in this study to obtain priority order criteria with data obtained from expert interviews. The results of AHP show the order of importance in receiving orders, namely the availability of raw materials, prices, production capabilities, market situations, customers, targets, order fulfillment, and external conditions. EMV is calculated for each criterion and risk which is then used to help make the right decisions in accepting orders. The entire methodology in this study is explained by using cases in the steel coating industry in Indonesia. The case study shows that EMV and AHP can be used to provide a feasibility assessment of orders received."

"Pengambilan keputusan dalam proyek adalah suatu usaha yang kompleks. Proyek adalah organisasi sementara yang dikelilingi oleh ketidakpastian yang melekat. Ketidakpastian yang dapat terjadi dalam proyek antara lain ketidakpastian waktu,biaya, dan kualitas. Untuk mengatasi berbagai kompleksitas tersebut, maka diperlukan suatu evaluasi kinerja proyek. Pada salah satu perusahaan jasa pertambangan minyak dan gas di Indonesia,evaluasi kinerja telah dilakukan, namun dilakukan secara terpisah dan hanya sedikit kriteria yang dievaluasi, sehingga kinerja proyek secara keseluruhan masih belum terlihat. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan evaluasi kinerja pada proyek perusahaan tersebut dengan pendekatan MCDA (Multi-criteria decision analysis) dengan menggunakan metode MACBETH yang dapat memodelkan elemen proyek menjadi suatu kelompok tingkat pengawasan untuk memudahkan pengambilan keputusan oleh manajer proyek.

Decision-making in a project is a complex undertaking. A project is a temporary organization that is surrounded by inherent uncertainties. Uncertainties that may occur in the project, among others, are the uncertainty of the time, cost, and quality. To overcome this complexity, we need a project performance evaluation. At one of the services the oil and gas in Indonesia, the performance evaluation has been done, but done separately and only few criteria are evaluated, so that the overall project performance is still not visible. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the company's project with the MCDA (Multi-criteria decision analysis) approach using MACBETH method that can model the elements of the project into a supervisory level group to facilitate decision-making by the project manager."

"Berbagai produk simpanan dan pinjaman yang diberikan oleh perbankan sering kita gunakan dalam keseharian. Bank XYZ merupakan salah satu bank terbesar yang ada di Indonesia dengan berbagai produk perbankan untuk melayani masyarakat. Berbagai produk yang dimiliki oleh Bank XYZ mengharuskan adanya jaminan keamanan dan kerahasiaan data nasabah, salah satunya adalah kartu kredit. Namun, berbagai upaya yang dilakukan perbankan untuk melindungi privasi data tersebut harus disertai kesadaran nasabah terhadap data yang dimiliki agar tidak disalahgunakan, terutama data kartu kredit yang dapat menimbulkan risiko finansial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengukur tingkat kesadaran keamanan informasi nasabah kartu kredit Bank XYZ serta memberikan rekomendasi langkah yang perlu dilakukan untuk dapat mengurangi kasus fraud kartu kredit yang terjadi di Bank XYZ. Penilaian tingkat kesadaran keamanan informasi dihitung dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner yang hasilnya diolah menggunakan teknik Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) yang merupakan salah satu metode Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA). Metode ini menghitung nilai total dari suatu alternatif berdasarkan nilai dan bobot beberapa kriteria yang ada. Hasil dari penelitian ini mendapatkan bahwa secara keseluruhan tingkat kesadaran keamanan informasi pemegang kartu kredit Bank XYZ telah berada di tingkat baik, namun masih terdapat beberapa sub-fokus area yang berada di tingkat sedang pada fokus area Use of Internet, Information Handling, PIN Management dan buruk pada fokus area Mobile Devices Use. Rekomendasi bagi Bank XYZ telah diberikan dimulai dari tingkat prioritas fokus area tertinggi yang telah diukur menggunakan teknik AHP untuk meningkatkan tingkat kesadaran informasi pada fokus area yang belum berada di ketegori baik.

Many various savings and loan products provided by banks we often use in our daily life. Bank XYZ is one of the largest banks in Indonesia with a variety of banking products to serve the public. Various products owned by Bank XYZ require security and confidentiality of customer data, one of them is credit card. However, various efforts that have been done by bank to protect the privacy of data must be followed by customer awareness of the sensitive data, especially credit card data that can pose financial risks. The purpose of this study is to analyze and measure the level of information security awareness of Bank XYZ credit card customers and provide recommendations that need to be taken to reduce credit card fraud cases that occur at Bank XYZ. Information security awareness level assessment is calculated by distributing questionnaires that are processed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique, one of the Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) methods. This method calculates the total value of an alternative based on the value and weight of several criteria. The results of this study found that overall the level of information security awareness of Bank XYZ credit cardholders has been at a good level, but there are still several sub-focus areas that are at an average level in the focus areas of Use of Internet, Information Handling, PIN Management and poor on Mobile Devices Use focus area. Recommendations for Bank XYZ have been given from the highest priority focus area which has been measured using AHP techniques to increase the level of information awareness in focus areas which is in the good category yet."

"In practical decision-making, the independence of criteria is usually violated so its uncreasonable to aggregate the alternative values using additive measures. In order to reflect the interactions between combinations in a set, the generalized shapley function is used to measure the importance of them, which is an expectation utility function with respect to a fuzzy measure. It is worth pointing out that the generalized shapley function is also a fuzzy measure. Then, the generalized shapley interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy geometric choquet operator is defined, which is also an interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy value. Further, some important properties are investigated. Moreover, an approach to interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making is developed. In the end, two practical examples are selected to show the presented procedure"
