"Identitas merupakan bagian fundamental dari proses komunikasi. Salah satu film yang memperlihatkan kompleksitas identitas adalah “Everything Everywhere All at Once”. Evelyn sebagai tokoh utama film tersebut berusaha untuk memutus trauma generasi kepada anaknya dengan lapisan-lapisan identitas yang dimilikinya. Tulisan ini berusaha menelusuri bagaimana lapisan-lapisan identitas dan kesenjangan identitas dalam film “Everything Everywhere All at Once” dipengaruhi dan memengaruhi proses komunikasi. Dengan communication theory of identity (CTI), penelitian ini akan mengategorikan identitas Evelyn ke dalam lima bingkai, yaitu identitas pribadi, identitas yang diberlakukan, identitas relasi, identitas komunal, dan identitas material. Kelima bingkai tersebut saling berhubungan dan berkaitan memengaruhi proses komunikasi Evelyn. Pada saat yang sama, identitas juga merupakan hasil dari komunikasi. Kelima identitas tidak selalu berjalan selaras, bahkan dapat berkontradiksi sehingga menimbulkan kesenjangan identitas, yaitu kesenjangan identitas pribadi dan identitas relasional serta kesenjangan identitas pribadi dan identitas yang diberlakukan.

Identity is a fundamental part of the communication process. One movie that shows the complexity of identity is “Everything Everywhere All at Once”. The main character of the film, Evelyn, tries to break generational trauma with the layers of identity that she has. This research will unfold Evelyn's identity layers and identity gaps. Using communication theory of identity (CTI), this research will categorize Evelyn's identity into five frames, which are personal identity, enacted identity, relational identity, communal identity, and material identity. The five frames are interconnected and interdependent which influence Evelyn's communication process. At the same time, identity is also the result of communication. The five identities do not always work in harmony, and can even be contradictory, leading to identity gaps, namely personal-relational identity gap as well as personal-enacted identity gap."

"The study examines the 250 CEOs? leadership style in adoption of electronic commerce (EC) among Bruneian SMEs. The study uses Bolman and Deals? instrument to measure the leadership frames and found that majority (70%) of the leadersare practicing all four frames and considered as effective leaders. Both human and symbolic (paired) frames of leadership remains dominant.In addition, structural, human resource and symbolic frames are ranked highest among the multiple (three) frames used. However, paired leadership frames (human and symbolic) were found to be significantpredictor of EC adoption among Bruneian SMEs. Based upon the analysis and conclusion some recommendations were made for the relevant authorities."

"Pendidikan suami dalam pola pernikahan diduga memiliki hubungan terhadap partisipasi kerja perempuan, salah satunya adalah assortative mating, yaitu fenomena ketika perempuan menikahi laki-laki dengan pendidikan setara. Untuk mengkaji hubungan ini, digunakan data SUSENAS 2020 yang diolah dengan metode regresi logit biner. Hasilnya, perempuan dalam pola marry-up high, assortative mating mid, marry-down low, marrydown high, dan assortative-mating high memiliki kecenderungan lebih tinggi untuk bekerja dan bekerja di sektor formal daripada perempuan dalam pola assortative-mating low. Akan tetapi, hasilnya sebaliknya untuk perempuan dengan pola marry-up low.

The husband’s education is believed to be related to female’s job participation, one of which is assortative mating, a phenomenon when individuals married those with the same level of education. To examine this relationship, the study analyzed the SUSENAS 2020 data using the binary logistic regression method. The results show that females in the marriage pattern of marry-up high, assortative mating mid, marry-down low, marry-down high, and assortative-mating high tend to work and engage in formal sector work compared to female in the assortative-mating low. However, the effect is the opposite for females in the marry-up low."
