"Merger adalah penggabungan dua perusahaan. Dengan penggabungan perusahaan, perusahaan yang sudah menjadi satu akan memproduksi barang dengan kualitas yang lebih baik, mendapatkan laba yang lebih banyak, dan juga meningkatkan kekuatan di dalam pasar tersebut. Studi kasus ini menganalisa mengenai Merger antara General Electric dan Honeywell, dimana perusahaan tersebut sudah berada industri yang sama yaitu industri mesin jet. Namun perusahaan tersebut memiliki kekuatan pasar di masing-masing tingkatnya. Untuk melakukan penggabungan, perusahaan tersebut harus memiliki persetujuan dari U.S Department of Justice dan EU Commission. Studi kasus ini juga akan menganalisa penggabungan perusahaan menggunakan analisa horizontal dan vertikal serta pandangan perusahaan tersebut di mata masing-masing U.S Department of Justice dan EU Commission.

Merge is an act of two companies becoming one company. With merge, the company can produce better quality, earn more profit, and expand its market share alongside with market power. The case study analyse the merger of General Electric and Honeywell, where both companies are in the same industry, which is jet engines industry. However, each company produce different products and have its market power in each market. In order to do the merging, the proposed merger has to be approved by the Department of Justice U.S. and European Commission. This case study also analyse the merger analysis both horizontal and vertical analysis alongside with point of view from both the Department of Justice U.S. and European Commission."

"Electric car is one technology that is designed to reduce the risk of pollution that causes global warming but an air conditioning system is required to create thermal comfort for its users. Therefore national electric car (MOLINA) made by the University of Indonesia will use BLDC compressor for the air conditioning system. Cooling load calculation is required to design the air conditioning system. This research will calculate the cooling load of MOLINA UI and also select the compressor that will be used in the air conditioning system. Then, the air conditioning system that has been designed and built will be tested for its performance. In the performance test, temperature and flow velocity of MOLINA air conditioning duct will be measured. Then proceed with simulation of temperature distribution and air flow in MOLINA cabin. Moreover, the energy consumption of MOLINA air conditioning systems that is using a BLDC compressor will also be measured. Based on this research it is known that the value of the cooling load on MOLINA UI is 2894.12 Watt (9875.15 BTU/h), average energy consumption of air conditioning systems MOLINA UI without inverter is ranged about 540 to 857.3 Watts and efficiency of inverter is ranged about 84.7% to 89.4%."
