"ABSTRAK
Motivasi untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan adalah suatu dorongan yang timbul
untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan hingga tingkat SMA, yang berasal dari dalam
diri sendiri atau dari luar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran motivasi
untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan hingga tingkat SMA. Desain penelitian yaitu
deskriptif sederhana. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 responden remaja, berusia
11-20 tahun, bersekolah, dan tinggal di Rumah Singgah Vincentius, sampel
dipilih secara total sampling. Analisis hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis
univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
gambaran motivasi untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan hingga tingkat SMA pada
remaja di Rumah Singgah Vincentius adalah rendah serta tidak ada hubungan
yang bermakna antara karakteristik dengan tingkat motivasi. Kurangnya motivasi
ini memerlukan bantuan dari berbagai pihak, seperti dari pihak pemerintah dan
keperawatan.

ABSTRACT
Motivation to finish study is an inducement that rises to finish study until senior
high school, sourcing from inside their self or outside. The purpose of this study is
to know the motivation to finish study until senior high school. This research is
descriptive. Samples are 40 teenagers using random sampling, age 11-20 years
old, study at school, and live in Rumah Singgah Vincentius. Data analyzed using
univariat and bivariat by Chi-Square. The results showed that description of
motivation to finish study until senior high school on teenagers who live in
Rumah Singgah Vincentius is low motivation and there is no significant relation
between characteristic and level of motivation. The decreased of the motivation
need support from another institution, like a goverment and nursing.

"ABSTRACT
Many KoreanChinese are staying in Korea for economic reasons, and unlike other foreign unskilled workers, their children are allowed to accompany them. The right to education is a premise of human dignity and other fundamental rights it is desirable to recognize at least the right to the necessary conditions for receiving compulsory education for the KoreanChinese children living in Korea. In addition, pursuant to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Korean government has an obligation to guarantee all children free elementary education and public education. The current legislation lacks a basis for the obligations of the state or parents with foreign nationality to provide compulsory education to their children. Also, as the current legislation lacks specificity in the contents of the law, implementation of the policy is left to the discretion of the state. Efforts should be made to ensure that as many KoreanChinese children as possible enjoy practical educational rights. Although it is important for the judiciary to actively consider the right to education in the Constitution and in international treaties, legislative efforts are also important. As cases in foreign countries suggest, cooperation between the private sector and the government should be considered."

"ABSTRACT
Pendidikan tidak dapat terlepas dari kepentingan politik dan kekuasaan. Paulo Freire melihat pendidikan dalam dua wajah yang berlawanan. Pertama, pendidikan sebagai bentuk penindasan. Kedua, pendidikan sebagai bentuk pembebasan. Pendidikan yang menindas terjadi lantaran peserta didik diarahkan hanya untuk memiliki kesadaran naif. Kesadaran naif pada peserta didik mempermudah mekanisme hegemoni. Sedangkan pendidikan yang membebaskan mengarahkan peserta didik untuk memiliki kesadaran kritis. Kesadaran kritis pada peserta didik mampu memicu terjadinya kontra hegemoni. Kesadaran naif pada peserta didik terjadi melalui suatu sistem pendidikan gaya-bank dengan prinsip antidialog. Sedangkan kesadaran kritis pada peserta didik tumbuh melalui suatu sistem pendidikan hadap-masalah dengan prinsip dialog. Dialog menekankan relasi pendidik-peserta didik sebagai subjek yang setara. Sedangkan antidialog menekankan relasi pendidik-peserta didik sebagai subjek-objek. Paulo Freire percaya bahwa humanisasi adalah permasalahan sentral bagi manusia. Sebuah rezim berkuasa yang hendak mempertahankan kekuasaannya melakukan dehumanisasi pada masyarakat melalui mekanisme hegemoni. Filsafat pendidikan yang dikonsepkan oleh Paulo Freire merupakan upaya humanisasi. Humanisasi dalam pendidikan ditandai dengan relasi yang setara antara pendidik-peserta didik sebagai subjek. Sehingga, pendidikan hadap-masalah merupakan pendidikan yang membebaskan serta mendukung proses humanisasi dan kontra hegemoni.

ABSTRACT
Education can not be separated from political interests and power. Paulo Freire sees education in two opposite faces. First, education as a form of oppression. Second, education as a form of liberation. The oppressive education occurs because learners are directed only to have a naive consciousness. Naive consciousness in learners facilitates hegemony mechanism. While liberating education leads learners to have critical consciousness. Critical consciousness in learners can trigger the occurrence of counter hegemony. Naive conscousness of the learners occurs through a banking concept of education with the principle of antidialogue. While critical awareness in learners grows through a problem-posing education with the principle of dialogue. Dialogue emphasizes the relation of educator-learners as an equivalent subject. While antidialog emphasizes the relationship of educators-learners as subject-objects. Paulo Freire believes that humanization is a central issue for humans. A ruling regime that wants to defend its power to dehumanize the society through the mechanism of hegemony. The philosophy of education conceptualized by Paulo Freire is a humanization effort. Humanization in education is characterized by an equal relationship between educators and learners. Thus, problem-posing educiation is education that liberates and supports the process of humanization and counter hegemony."
