Nagy K. Hanna, editor
"In National Strategies to Harness Information Technology, Nagy Hanna and Peter Knight provide a framework for assessing the opportunities, challenges, and prospects for “e-transformation” and for analyzing the options and innovations adopted to manage the e-transformation process. Featuring contributions from country experts, the editors and authors provide in-depth case studies of ICT deployment in Singapore, Finland, the Philippines, and South Africa, and asses the progress of such efforts. Russell, James S.
"The agile city shows that change undertaken at the building and community level can reach carbon-reduction goals rapidly. Russell highlights tactics that create multiplier effects, which means that ecologically driven change can shore-up economic opportunity, can make more productive workplaces, and can help revive neglected communities."

Sachs, Ignacy
"The present book is meant as a contribution to the study of this problem , as it is mainly devoted to the analysis of public sector patterns in countries belonging to the second and third categories as described above. In the author’s opinion , a frame of reference for concrete studies can be provided by two ‘pure’ models of the public sector, called respectively the ‘Indian ’ and the ‘Japanese’ patterns. Inpractice we find ourselves in the presence of composite and in termediary forms. The concep to rapublic sector is narrower than that of State capitalism. But the acceptance of a given public sector pattern broadly determine the character of State capitalism in the country considered. In that sense, the present study deals with some fundamental problems of State capitalism in underd eveloped countries. "
