"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari sandwich generation terhadap kepemilikan rekening tabungan dan pinjaman rumah tangga di Indonesia dengan menggunakan data Susenas 2022. Regresi logistik biner dilakukan dengan dua model. Model pertama menganalisis hubungan sandwich generation terhadap peluang memiliki rekening tabungan dan model kedua menganalisis hubungan sandwich generation terhadap peluang memiliki pinjaman. Hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa sandwich generation berasosiasi negatif dan signifikan memengaruhi peluang untuk memiliki rekening tabungan rumah tangga. Akan tetapi, rumah tangga yang menjadi sandwich generation tidak signifikan dalam memengaruhi peluang memiliki pinjaman konsumtif. Di samping itu, keberadaan anak berusia di bawah 19 tahun signifikan memengaruhi peluang rumah tangga untuk memiliki pinjaman secara positif.  Pengaruh ini masing-masing bervariasi berdasarkan pengeluaran rumah tangga.

This study aims to analyze the impact of sandwich generation on household saving account ownership and consumptive loans in Indonesia using data from the 2022 Socioeconomic Survey. Two models of binary logistic regression were performed. The first model examined the relationship between sandwich generation and the likelihood of having a saving account, while the second model analyzed the relationship between sandwich generation and the likelihood of having a loan. The regression results show that sandwich generation is negatively associated with the likelihood of owning a household saving account. However, sandwich generation does not significantly affect the likelihood of having loans. Additionally, the presence of children under 19 years old positively influences the household's likelihood of having loans. It is also found that these effects vary by household expenditure."
