"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh regulasi emosi dalam ketidakpastian pada mahasiswa manajemen beretnis Jawa dan apakah penggunaan suppression pada etnis tersebut lebih sedikit menurunkan maksimalisasi pengambilan keputusan dalam ketidakpastian dibandingkan dengan etnis lainnya. Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan Analysis of Variance terhadap performa 136 mahasiswa manajemen pada Iowa Gambling Task menunjukan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh regulasi emosi yang signifikan terhadap pengambilan keputusan dalam ketidakpastian, kecuali jika memasukan blok trial ketiga sebagai faktor. Hasil penelitian ini sejalan dengan penelitian Heilman, Houser, Miclea, dan Miu (2010). Analisis independent t-test terhadap etnis Jawa dengan Non-Jawa pada kelompok yang menggunakan suppression dalam pengambilan keputusan dalam ketidakpastian juga tidak menunjukan perbedaan yang signifikan.

This research was conducted to find effect of emotion regulation on decision making under uncertainty on Javanese students majoring in management and to found out whether using of emotion suppression on that etnic will less decreased the decision making maximalization. The result of 3x2 Analysis of Covariance of 136 students perfoemance on Iowa Gambling Task showhed that there was no significant effect of emotion regulation except if the third block of trial included as a factor. This result same as Heilman, Houser, Miclea, dan Miu (2010) research. Independent t-test showed that there were no significant differences between Javanese and Non-Javanese in decision making under uncertainty while they were used suppression to regulate heir emotions."
