"Skripsi ini membahas perkembangan metodologi dalam ilmu ekonomi. Perkembangan tersebut berupa ekonomi perilaku yang mengangkat peran asumsi yang tidak riil dan realisme psikologis. Asumsi yang tidak riil merupakan hipotesis para ekonom untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai persoalan ekonomi. Sedangkan realisme psikologis sebagai cara untuk mengidentifikasi persoalan tersebut. Dalam upaya mengangkat pentingnya peran realisme ilmiah dan penelitian psikologi untuk memperoleh pengetahuan yang benar. Ekonomi perilaku mendasarkan pengetahuan pada realitas teramati berupa perilaku manusia Human behaviour . Dengan demikian, ekonomi perilaku mampu menganalisis proses pembuatan keputusan ekonomi yang dilakukan oleh individu hingga perilaku sosial melalui pemodelan Loss Aversion.
