"Ruang berkumpul atau ruang komunal warga di Rusunawa dapat dilihat sebagai teritori yang di kontrol dan dikuasai oleh kelompok-kelompok sosial tertentu berdasarkan kebutuhannya. Teritorialitas yang merupakan upaya kelompok sosial mengklaim suatu area geografis, bersangkutan dengan kebutuhan interaksi sosial warga. Penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi apa yang melatarbelakangi terciptanya teritori dan mengetahui apa yang penghuni lakukan untuk menciptakan teritori tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan teori dan analisis studi kasus, kebutuhan derajat privasi dan fitur desain peran penting dalam menciptakan teritori yang kemudian dapat menghadirkan ruang interaksi sosial bagi warga Rusunawa.
Gathering spaces or communal spaces of Rusunawa residents can be seen as territory that controlled and managed by particular social groups based on their needs. Territoriality which is the effort of social groups to claim a geographical area, involved the social interaction needs of residents. This thesis aims to identify what lies behind the creation of territory and know what residents do to create the territory. Based on the theoretical review and analysis of case studies, the need for degree of privacy and design features are play the significant role in creating territory which then can present social interaction space for Rusunawa residents."
