"Job stress is systematically created by the characteristics of the jobs themselves, by the workers’ occupation, the organizations in which they work, their placements in different labor markets, and by broader social, economic and institutional structures, processes and events. And disparities in job stress are systematically determined in much the same way as are other disparities in health, income, and mobility opportunities.
In taking this approach, the authors draw on the observations and insights from a diverse field of sociological and economic theories and research. "

This study aims to examine the association between work status transitions from employment to non-employment and the reverse transition to individual mental health. Using IFLS 4 and 5 data, this study attempts to make a longitudinal analysis of the effects of each work status transition on the probability of depressive symptoms. Screening for depressive symptoms was obtained from a CESD-10 score using the cut-off reference of Andresen et al. (1994). The sample in this study was 16,994 working age individuals both male and female. Analysis using the logistic regression method shows that both work status transitions, from working to not working or vice versa, are positively and significantly associated with the probability of depressive symptoms. However, marginal effect analysis shows a tendency for a slightly higher risk of depressive symptoms in individuals who experience a transition from not working to working. Estimates of the interaction variables between work status transition and gender prove positive associations in the transition from not working to working and the probability of depressive symptoms only in female individuals, while in men the estimation shows the opposite correlation. This study explores the differences in gender roles in households that can contribute to these findings."

The research study aims to analyze the relationship between Social Interaction, Visit Intensity, and Green Space Quality with the Mental Health of Bogor City Square visitors. It used a quantitative approach involving 130 respondents with an age range of 18-43 years, with an average age of 26.25 years and a sex ratio of 68.5:31.5 for women and men. The study utilized Attention Restoration Theory (ART) and Optimal Healing Environment Theory to build a conceptual basis for understanding the interaction between these factors and used the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale as a measure of visitors' mental health. Based on statistical analysis using SPSS 25.0 for Windows, the test results found that Social Interaction and green space quality significantly influenced mental health, while visitation intensity showed no significant effect. Additionally, this study highlighted differences in mental health based on age and gender, emphasizing the importance of social support and sports facilities. Furthermore, based on RISKESDAS data in 2018, West Java is ranked ninth highest in the prevalence of depression in the population aged over 15 years in Indonesia, with Bogor Regency having the highest rate of mental illness in West Java. These findings provide insights for more sustainable urban development and public mental health."
