"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai Resimen Mahasiswa dan kegiatan penataran yang dilakukan Satuan Tugas Resimen Mahasiswa (Satgas Menwa) di Timor Timur tahun 1978-1979 kepada Hansip, Wanra, serta masyarakat di sana. Kegiatan penataran itu berfokus pada enam bidang utama, yaitu, pertanian, peternakan,perikanan, kesehatan, pertukangan, dan pendidikan. Data yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah hasil wawancara dengan anggota Satgas Menwa Timor Timur,dokumen, arsip, dan buku teks. Dalam kegiatan penataran itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa Menwa telah berkontribusi dalam pembangunan di Timor Timur yang nyatanya selaras dengan fungsinya sebagai organisasi.

This thesis discusses about Menwa (Resimen Mahasiswa/Student Regiment) and its inservice activities conducted by members of the Menwa in East Timor by 1978-1979. They were known as Satgas Menwa Timor Timur. Satgas Menwa had conducted workshops in agriculture, health, education, carpentry, fishery, and animal husbandry to Hansip (civil defense force), Wanra (people volunteers usually in conflict area), and people there. The datas used in this thesis are the result of interviews with the members of Satgas Menwa Timor Timur, documents,archives, and textbooks. As a result of that inservice activities, it can be said that Menwa had contributed to the development in East Timor, in fact it consistent with its function as an organization."

"Most parents, teachers, and guardians understand that children, no matter what their age, have needs for certain things in life to help them develop physically, emotionally, and mentally. There are many things that children themselves want. In our daily lives a "need" or a "want" may sound very similar, so that differentiation between the twoo is not always clear. This paper explores the distiction between needs and wants and the different ways and means young people use to achieve these ends in Western society. Its also looks at how parents react and deal with their children when the expectations rise and their needs and wants become more expensive. Sixty students, all aged between 16 and 22 years old, filed in questionnaires. They were from four different school sector, five different cultural backgrounds, and two universities in South Australia. Twenty were later in interviewed to document their experiences and stories. Data was analysed qualitatively for factors affecting attitude, kifestyle, core values, culture, and their impact on the behaviour outcomes. The study further examined how these patterns of behaviour reflected on the students' life sjills, achievements, and how they affected family outcomes. Results showed the many parents look the blame for their children's actions and illustrated the influence of values and cultural background on childre's attitude towards their parents, their needs, and expectations."

"ABSTRAK
Person-organization fit (P-O fit) dapat memrediksi performa kerja, intensi
turnover, dan kepuasan kerja (Edward, 1991, dalam Farooqui & Nagendra,
2014; Bowen, Ledford, & Nathan, 1991, Kristof, 1996, dalam Sekiguchi, 2004).
Dalam penelitian ini akan dilihat hubungan antara values set dan perceived
cultural values di wilayah Jakarta. Desain penelitian ini ialah korelasi dan
teknik multiple regression untuk menganalisis data. Alat ukur yang digunakan
untuk mengukur values set dan perceived cultural values ialah PVQ-RR
(Schwartz dkk, 2012). Data dari 117 responden, ditemukan bahwa perceived
cultural values memengaruhi secara signifikan (p<0,01) terhadap selftranscendence
dengan lebih dari 20,6% proporsi varians dapat dijelaskan oleh
setiap dimensi perceived cultural values. Ditemukan juga bahwa conservation
dipengaruhi secara signifikan (p<0,01) dengan lebih dari 7,8% proporsi varians
dapat dijelaskan oleh setiap dimensi perceived cultural values. Hal ini
menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan nilai setiap dimensi perceived cultural values
akan meningkatkan nilai pada self-transcendence dan conservation dengan
proporsi varians berbeda. Lalu, self-enhancement tidak dipengaruhi secara
signifikan (p>0,05) oleh dimensi perceived cultural values apapun. Pada
openness to change ditemukan bahwa 6 dimensi perceived cultural values
memengaruhi secara signifikan (p<0,05) dengan minimal 2,6% proporsi varians
yang dapat dijelaskan dan tidak dipengaruhi dimensi harmony (p>0,05).
Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat dalam penyusunan rancangan
intervensi agar hubungan values set dan perceived cultural values dapat
semakin ditingkatkan kecocokannya dalam diri karyawan di Jakarta

ABSTRACT
Person-organization fit (P-O fit) could predict job performance, intention to
turnover, and job satisfaction on employees. (Edward, 1991, dalam Farooqui &
Nagendra, 2014; Bowen, Ledford, & Nathan, 1991, Kristof, 1996, dalam
Sekiguchi, 2004). This research will be examined the relationship between
values set and perceived cultural values on employees in Jakarta. Research
design will be correlational and data will analyzed with multiple regression.
PVQ-RR will be used for measured values set and perceived cultural values
(Schwartz dkk, 2012). Data from 117 respondents, found self-transcendence
significantly influenced by perceived cultural values (p<0,01) with minimal
20,6% proportions of varians could explained by dimensions of perceived
cultural values. Research also found that conservation significantly influenced
by perceived cultural values (p<0,01) with minimal 7,8% proportions of varians
could explained by dimensions of perceived cultural values. This found also
explained that if dimensions of perceived cultural values?s scores increased,
self-transcendence and conservation?s scores would be increased too with
different proportions of varians. All dimensions of perceived cultural values
didn?t influenced self-enhancement significantly (p>0,05). Except harmony
dimension (p>0,05), all dimensions of perceived cultural values influenced
openness to change significantly (p<0,05) with minimal 2,6% proportions of
varians could explained by dimensions of perceived cultural values. This
research could be useful for providing material for prepare the intervention to
increase the match of values set and perceived cultural values on employees in
Jakarta"
