"ABSTRAKLaki-laki dalam masyarakat Bali khususnya di lingkungan puri, memiliki kedudukan tinggi. Oleh sebab itu, keluarga puri khususnya ketururnan raja sangat mengharapkan keturunan laki-laki dari para istrinya. Fajar Putu Arcarna melalui “Sulasih” menggambarkan atau melukiskan tokoh Gung Aji sebagai pewaris puri berusaha dalam memperoleh anak laki-laki dari Sulasih. Seorang perempuan berkasta sudra, yang mengakibatkan dirinya harus berurusan dengan instansi kepolisan terkait dengan tindakannya yaitu menukar bayinya. Penelitian ini membahas tentang kedudukan laki-laki dan perempuan dalam cerpen “Sulasih”.
