"ABSTRAKPenerapan Collaborative Learning dan Problem-based Learning dalam KurikulumBerbasis Kompetensi merupakan stimulus bagi mahasiswa karena baru diterapkanpada program studi keperawatan Universitas Indonesia sejak tahun 2008. Penelitianini menggunakan desain deskriptif untuk menggambarkan karakteristik serta persepsimahasiswa Keperawatan program sarjana mengenai penerapan metode CollaborativeLearning dan Problem-based Learning dalam Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi.Responden penelitian berjumlah 107 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsiyang dibentuk mahasiswa adalah positif (51,4%). Masih ada hal yang perludiperbaiki, seperti keseragaman pemahaman mahasiswa, komunikasi mahasiswa danpengajar, serta peran pengajar sebagai fasilitator dan motivator. Evaluasi lebih lanjutperlu dilakukan untuk menemukan solusi yang tepat.

ABSTRACTThe Collaborative Learning and Problem-based Learning in Competency-based

Curriculum could be a stimulus for students because it was newly applied in Nursing

Major in University of Indonesia since 2008. This research used descriptive design to

describe the undergraduate Nursing student's characteristics and perceptions about

the application of Collaborative Learning and Problem-based Learning in

Competency-based Curriculum. The respondents were 107 students. Student's

perception in this research was positive (51,4%). The evaluation could be in the

uniformity of student's comprehension, communication between student and lecturer

and the role of lecturer as a facilitator and motivator. Further evaluation is needed to

find the best solution."

"This study investigates and analyzes learning phenomena related to moral values in the content of problem-based learning activities, the process of moral values internalization in relation to problem-based learning situations, conditions that relate to the enhancement of comprehension as well as internalization of the values, and their impact to the tendency of actualizing the values into better student behaviour. This research was conducted with participation of the students of the Arabic Department, Faculty of Language and Arts Education, Indonesia University of Education in the academic years 2009, 2010, and 2011. The data to be analyzed in this research comprises of the students' written responses (initial responses, group work responses, and written reflection), classroom observation, and in-depth interviews. The data used was analyzed by considering the principles of credibility, dependability, transferability and confirmability. Data analysis, using principles of qualitative approach, reveals phenomena relating to the students' comprehension, feelings, and behavior regarding the moral values, as a result of learning stages designed based on the theoretical framework. In addition to this result, an instructional theory and a learning theory can be formulated."
