"Nutrisi mempunyai peran penting untuk remaja sebagai penunjang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Salah satu cara untuk mendapatkan nutrisi adalah dengan menerapkan pola makan yang baik. Apabila pola makan yang diterapkan kurang baik, maka hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan masalah pencernaan seperti gastritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara pola makan dengan tanda dan gejala gastritis. Desain penelitian menggunakan penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling dan diperoleh responden sejumlah 105 dengan ketentuan belum pernah terdiagnosis ulkus peptikum. Hasil penelitian menyatakan ada hubungan antara pola makan dengan tanda dan gejala gastritis pada remaja p=0,044, 0,1; OR=0,408. Peneliti menyarankan kepada remaja untuk mempertahankan pola makan yang sudah baik dan memodifikasi pola makan yang kurang baik.

Nutrition had an important role for adolescents to support growth and development. To get a sufficient nutrition, we could apllied by a good diet. If the diet is poorly applied, it can cause digestive problems such as gastritis. The purpose of this research was to identify the relationship between food pattern with signs and symptoms of gastritis. This design used descriptive correlation research with cross sectional approached. Sample was chosen by stratified random sampling and sum of respondent needed were 105 respondents who didn't have peptic ulcer. The result indicated there was a relationship between food pattern with signs and symptoms of gastritis in adolescents p 0,044 0,1 OR 0,408 . Researchers suggested to maintain a good diet and modify the bad diet of adolescent."
