"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi orang bersepeda dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Pengambilan data dilakukan kepada para pesepeda sebagai responden. Faktor-faktor yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kebutuhan (person need), kebijakan pemerintah (government), infrastruktur (private infrastructure), karakteristik individu (individual characteristic), komunitas (community), dan lingkungan (environment). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang terbukti mempengaruhi motivasi orang bersepeda secara positif adalah kebutuhan (person need), kebijakan pemerintah (government), komunitas (community), dan lingkungan (environment). The purpose of this research is to identify factors that influence motivation of cycling by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The data is taken from bikers as respondens. Factors used in this research are person need, government's policy, private infrastructure, individual characteristic, community, dan environment.

The result of the research shows that factors person need, government policy, community and environment have positively influence motivation of cycling. While, private infrastructure and individual characteristic have no influence to the motivation of cycling."

"Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui determinan perilaku berisiko tertular HIV pada pria potensial risti di Indonesia Tahun 2011. Metode: Desain penelitian cross sectional dengan menggunakan data sekunder Survei Terpadu Biologis dan Perilaku (STBP) di Indonesia Tahun 2011. Sampel penelitian adalah pria potensial risti yang terpilih menjadi sampel penelitian STBP, dengan kriteria responden seseorang yang secara biologis laki-laki berumur ≥15 tahun. Besar sampel 4.895 responden. Analisis multivariat dilakukan untuk menguji model yang paling sesuai yang menggambarkan perilaku berisiko tertular HIV pada pria potensial risti dengan menggunakan aplikasi structural equation modeling. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan masih tingginya perilaku berisiko tertular HIV seperti hubungan seks dengan WPS (43%) dan wanita lain selain istri/pasangan tetap atau WPS (13%). Faktor yang berhubungan bermakna dengan perilaku berisiko tertular HIV adalah persepsi risiko tertular HIV (koeff path=0,30), demografi (koeff path=0,62), pengetahuan (koeff path=-0,20), ketersediaan sumber/fasilitas kesehatan (koeff path=0,74) dan dukungan sosial (koeff path=-0,25). Kesimpulan: Perilaku berisiko dapat diturunkan jika pengetahuannya baik, mendapat dukungan sosial yang memadai, persepsi yang salah tentang risiko tertular HIV dikurangi, dan ketersediaan sumber/fasilitas kesehatan dipenuhi. Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten/Kota diharapkan bekerjasama dengan LSM dalam kegiatan penjangkauan dengan cara mendampingi, berdiskusi tentang cara penularan dan pencegahan HIV/AIDS dan mendorong untuk berperilaku aman.

Objective: to determine the determinants of HIV risk behaviors among potential high risk men in Indonesia in 2011.

Methods: cross sectional study using secondary data Integrated Biological and Behavioral Survey (IBBS) in Indonesia in 2011. The sample was a man who elected as a potential high risk IBBS study sample, with a criterion is a person who is biologically male aged ≥ 15 years. The sample size was 4,895. Multivariate analyzes were performed to examine the most appropriate model that describes HIV risk behaviors among potential high risk men using structural equation modeling applications.

Results: This study shows the high HIV risk behaviors such as sex with female sex workers (43%) and nonregular partner (13%). Factors significantly associated with HIV risk behavior is the perception of risk of HIV (koeff path = 0.30), demographics (koeff path = 0.62), knowledge (koeff path = -0.20), the availability of source / health facilities (koeff path = 0.74) and social support (koeff path = -0.25).

Conclusion: Risk behavior can be reduced if knowledge is good, adequate social support, a false perception the risk of HIV is reduced, and the availability of resources / health facilities. Cooperation with NGOs in outreach activities by assisting, discuss ways of transmission and prevention of HIV / AIDS and encouraged to behave safely."
