"ABSTRAK
Travel impedance didefinisikan sebagai hambatan dari lingkungan yang menghalangi individu dalam melakukan perjalanan dan mencapai tujuan. Dengan tingkat kepadatan jalan di Jakarta saat ini, travel impedance dalam mengendarai suatu moda transportasi berpotensi menurunkan well-being. Studi ini meneliti tentang dampak paparan travel impedance ketika mengendarai sepeda motor dan fluktuasi valensi dan arousal yang dialami sebelum dan setelah berkendara. Valensi dan arousal merupakan dimensi-dimensi core affect, yaitu konstruk psikologi yang merupakan komponen afektif dari well-being. Studi ini juga ingin melihat bagaimana trait neuroticism memoderasi dampak travel impedance terhadap valensi. Metode yang digunakan adalah experience sampling method, dengan aplikasi smartphone sebagai alat pengambilan data. Sebanyak 29 orang responden diminta untuk melaporkan kondisi valensi dan arousal mereka dua kali sehari, selama 10 hari. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan valensi dan arousal antara kelompok yang belum terpapar travel impedance (diukur sebelum berkendara) dengan kelompok yang telah terpapar travel impedance (diukur setelah berkendara). Trait neuroticism juga tidak memoderasi hubungan antara travel impedance dan valensi.

ABSTRACT
Travel impedance is defined as behavioral constraint on movement and goal attainment. With the level of congestion in Jakarta today, travel impedance in riding a transportation modes potentially reduce well-being. This study examined the impact of exposure to travel impedance related to riding motorcycle and fluctuations of valence and arousal before and after riding. Valence and arousal are dimensions of core affect, a psychological construct which is the affective component of well-being. This study also examined how neuroticism trait moderate the impact of travel impedance on valence. Method used in this research is the experience sampling method, with a smartphone application being used for data collecting. A total of 29 respondents were asked to report the condition of the valence and arousal them twice a day, for 10 days. The results indicated that there is no difference in valence and arousal between before travel impedance group (measured before riding) and after travel impedance group (measured after riding). Trait neuroticism also does not moderate the relationship between the travel impedance and valence."

"Deniz Yilmaz' thesis describes a combination of orthogonal supramolecular interactions for the design of functional monolayer architectures on surfaces, that can be used as chemical and biosensors in a wide range of applications. The first part of the thesis employs orthogonal host-guest and lanthanide-ligand coordination interaction motifs to create supramolecular luminescent monolayers. The second part of the thesis describes the fabrication of functional monolayers on silicon and gold substrates for applications in electronics.
The results illustrate the power of weak supramolecular interactions to direct the immobilization of functional systems on surfaces. The combination of host-guest and lanthanide-ligand coordination interaction motifs on surfaces demonstrates that hybrid, multifunctional supramolecular monolayers can be fabricated by integrating different non-covalent interactions in the same system. This combination opens up new avenues for the fabrication of complex hybrid organic-inorganic materials and stimuli-responsive surfaces. Their utility is demonstrated through applications of the functional interfaces to biosensing and nanotechnology."

"Istilah emosi yang selama ini digunakan seperti marah, sedih, takut belum memiliki batasan yang jelas sehingga sulit dibedakan. Valensi merupakan salah satu dimensi yang dapat lebih jelas membedakan emosi yang dirasakan seorang individu. Valensi diukur melalui status updates di Twittter karena Twitter sekarang ini dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk menangkap emosi yang dirasakan individu melalui status updates yang ditulis individu di Twitter. Pengukuran valensi melalui Twitter sudah dilakukan sebelumnya dalam beberapa penelitian (Kloumann, Danforth, Harris, Bliss, & Dodds, 2012; Dodds, Harris, Kloumann, Bliss, & Danforth, 2011).
Dalam penelitian ini, penulis ingin mencoba pengukuran valensi melalui Twitter di Indonesia. Selain akan melihat distribusi valensi yang ada melalui Twitter, baik valensi kata maupun valensi partisipan, penelitian ini juga akan melihat ada atau tidaknya kesamaan valensi diantara individu yang berteman. Hal ini dikarenakan terdapat kesamaan diantara individu yang berteman (Baker, 1983). Selain itu, hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Fowler dan Christakis (2008) juga menunjukkan bahwa emosi seorang individu tergantung oleh emosi individu lain yang terhubung dengannya, seperti keluarga, teman, tetangga. Analisis jejaring sosial berdasarkan hubungan pertemanan juga dilakukan untuk melihat gambaran hubungan pertemanan diantara partisipan.

The term has been used in emotion such as anger, sadness, fear does not have clear boundaries so it?s difficult to distinguish. Valence is a dimension in emotion that can more clearly distinguish which emotions is felt by an individual. Valence is measured through status updates on Twitter because now it can be used as a tool to capture one invidual?s emotion through status updates on Twitter. Measurement of the valence through Twitter already done before in several research (Kloumann, Danforth, Harris, Bliss, & Dodds, 2012; Dodds, Harris, Kloumann, Bliss, & Danforth, 2011).
In this study, the authors want to try to measure the valence through Twitter in Indonesia. Besides the valence distribution, both word valence and participants valence, the study will also look at whether there is any similarity valence between individuals who are friends. This is because there are similarities among individuals who are friends (Baker, 1983). In addition, the results of research conducted by Fowler and Christakis (2008) also showed that the emotions of an individual depends on the emotions of other individuals who connected with them, such as family, friends, neighbors. Social network analysis based on friendship also made to see the picture of the friendship among the participants.

"Perkembangan smartphone dan internet menghasilkan perubahan besar pada kebiasaan dan preferensi konsumen, yaitu dengan menggunakan media digital untuk berbagi informasi, berkomunikasi, berbelanja online dan menggunakan layanan baru berbasis internet. Bank Digital adalah model terbaru dari dunia perbankan yang tidak memiliki kantor cabang/fisik dimanapun dan dirancang untuk memberikan layanan perbankan melalui platform elektronik, sedangkan bank konvensional adalah sistem perbankan lama yang layanannya masih diberikan secara tatap muka melalui kantor cabang terdekat. Bank digital memiliki banyak manfaat dibandingkan dengan bank konvensional seperti: pendaftaran yang lebih mudah, 24 jam akses layanan, dll. Trust transfer theory digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengukur proses perpindahan trust dari dua objek yang saling berhubungan yaitu bank konvesional dan bank digital. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan valence framework dan innovation diffusion theory untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi intensi pengguna dalam menggunakan aplikasi bank digital. Secara keseluruhan, model penelitian ini terdiri dari 13 variabel: relative advantages, compatibility, observability, perceived ease of use, behavioral intention, perceived risk, activation cost, monetary cost, initial trust of digital banking, offline banking trust, reputation, consumer disposition to trust, dan trust to internet. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan metode covariance-based structural equation model (CB-SEM) dengan tools AMOS 22.0 menggunakan 370 data responden yang valid. Hasil analisis telah membuktikan bahwa offline banking trust mempengaruhi secara positif terhadap reputation; offline banking trust dan reputation memepengaruhi secara positif terhadap intial trust of digital banking; faktor trust to internet memoderasi hubungan antara offline banking trust dan initial trust of digital banking; initial trust of digital banking mempengaruhi secara negatif terhadap perceived risk; initial trust of digital banking mempengaruhi secara positif terhadap relative advantages; initial trust of digital banking, relative advantages, observability, dan compatibility mempengaruhi secara positif terhadap behavioral intention pengguna. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengisi kekosongan penelitian terdahulu terkait konteks kepercayaan pada bank digital. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dan memberikan manfaat kepada industri perbankan di Indonesia dalam meningkatkan fitur yang kurang dan mengatur strategi sesuai dengan tujuan bisnis.

The development of smartphones and the internet has resulted in major changes in consumer habits and preferences, namely by using digital media to share information, communicate, shop online and use new internet-based services. Digital bank is the latest model of the banking world that doesn’t have any branch or physical office, which is designed to provide banking services through an electronic platform. Whereas, conventional banking is old banking system where services are provided face-to-face through the nearest branch office. Digital bank has many benefits compared to conventional bank such as easier registration, 24-hours services access, etc. Trust transfer theory is used in this research in order to measure the process of transferring trust between two interrelated objects, conventional banks and digital banks. This research also uses the valence framework and innovation diffusion theory to determine the factors that influence user intentions in using digital banking applications. Overall, this research model consists of 13 variables such as relative advantages, compatibility, observability, perceived ease of use, behavioral intention, perceived risk, activation cost, monetary cost, initial trust of digital banking, offline banking trust, reputation, consumer disposition to trust, and trust to the internet. This research was analyzed using the covariance- based structural equation model (CB SEM) method with AMOS 22.0 using 370 valid respondent data. The results of the analysis proven that offline banking trust has a positive effect on reputation; offline banking trust and reputation positively affect the initial trust of digital banking; the factor of trust to internet moderates the relationship between offline banking trust and initial trust of digital banking; initial trust of digital banking negatively affects perceived risk; initial trust of digital banking positively affects the relative advantages; initial trust of digital banking, relative advantages, observability, and compatibility positively affect the behavioral intention of users. This research is expected to fill the void or gap from the previous research related to the context of trust in the digital bank. Last but not least, this research is expected to contribute and provide benefits to the banking industry in Indonesia aim to improve the features that are still lacking and make strategies according to the business goals."
