"The aim of these notes is to include in a uniform presentation style several topics related to the theory of degenerate nonlinear diffusion equations, treated in the mathematical framework of evolution equations with multivalued m-accretive operators in Hilbert spaces. The problems concern nonlinear parabolic equations involving two cases of degeneracy. More precisely, one case is due to the vanishing of the time derivative coefficient and the other is provided by the vanishing of the diffusion coefficient on subsets of positive measure of the domain.From the mathematical point of view the results presented in these notes can be considered as general results in the theory of degenerate nonlinear diffusion equations. However, this work does not seek to present an exhaustive study of degenerate diffusion equations, but rather to emphasize some rigorous and efficient techniques for approaching various problems involving degenerate nonlinear diffusion equations, such as well-posedness, periodic solutions, asymptotic behaviour, discretization schemes, coefficient identification, and to introduce relevant solving methods for each of them."

"Self-adjoint extensions in quantum mechanics begins by considering quantization problems in general, emphasizing the nontriviality of consistent operator construction by presenting paradoxes of the naïve treatment. The necessary mathematical background is then built by developing the theory of self-adjoint extensions. Through examination of various quantum-mechanical systems, the authors show how quantization problems associated with the correct definition of observables and their spectral analysis can be treated consistently for comparatively simple quantum-mechanical systems. Systems that are examined include free particles on an interval, particles in a number of potential fields including delta-like potentials, the one-dimensional Calogero problem, the Aharonov–Bohm problem, and the relativistic Coulomb problem."

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh store elements terhadap repatronage decision dengan dimediasi oleh emotional response dan overall evaluation dalam industri restoran etnis. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan program LISREL 8.51. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa empat dari lima store elements berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap emotional response, tetapi tidak berpengaruh signifikan dan secara langsung terhadap overall evaluation. Empat dari lima store elements dapat mempengaruhi overall evaluation melalui emotional response. Dan pada akhirnya overall evaluation secara positif dan signifikan dapat mempengaruhi repatronage decision.

This research aims to analyze the effects of store elements to repatronage decision, mediated by emotional response and overall evaluation in the context of an ethnic restaurant. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with LISREL 8.51 software. The result of this research suggest that four out of five store elements indicate positive and significant effect toward emotional response, but they do not exhibit significant influence toward overall evaluation. Four out of five store elements can influence overall evaluation through emotional response as mediating variable. Ultimately, overall evaluation would positively affect repatronage decision."

"Quarks are the main constituents of protons and neutrons and hence are important building blocks of all the matter that surrounds us. However, quarks have the intriguing property that they never appear as isolated single particles but only in bound states. This phenomenon is called confinement and has been a central research topic of elementary particle physics for the last few decades. In order to find the mechanism that forbids the existence of free quarks many approaches and ideas are being followed, but by now it has become clear that they are not mutually exclusive but illuminate the problem from different perspectives. Two such confinement scenarios are investigated in this thesis. Firstly, the importance of Abelian field components for the low-energy regime is corroborated, thus supporting the dual superconductor picture of confinement and secondly, the influence of the Gribov horizon on non-perturbative solutions is studied."

"Penggunaan oven yang terus menerus telah menurunkan kualitas dari fire- chamber pada oven I, sehingga kebocoran diantara fire-tubes telah menyebabkan kebakaran pada saat proses produksi. PT ISJ mengganti fire-chamber system dengan alat penukar kalor yang menggunakan oli pemindah panas sebagai fluida panas, yang telah dipanaskan dengan sebuah boiler dengan kapasitas 600.000 kkal/j. Kapasitas alat penukar kalor dirancang sebesar 120.000 kkal/j, sebanyak 3 unit. Alat penukar kalor dirancang dengan menggunakan pendekatan LMTD terhadap temperatur-temperatur masukan - keluaran yang diasumsikan dari kondisi- kondisi seperti pada fire-chamber system. Pengujian terhadap alat penukar kalor dilakukan pada saat proses produksi akan mulai dijalankan hingga produksi berjalan. Besarya nilai efelctivitas ajat penukar kalor ditentukan dengan mempergunakan data-data temperatur fluida kerja pada saat suhu oven mencapai suhu produksi, 120°-122° C, kira-kira setelah oven dipanaskan selama 60 menit. Dari hasil perhitungan, kalor yang dilepwkan oli sebesar 173,02 kJ/s di pergunakan untuk menaikkan suhu udara masukan dari 41,2° C menjadi 153° C. Dengan mernpergunakan data hasil perhitungan yang ada, diketahui efektivitas kalor alat penukar kalor sekilar 63 %."
