ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas pemodelan struktur cangkang dengan elemen MITC-24
berdasarkan teori cangkang Naghdi. Karena bentuk struktur cangkang yang
kompleks, maka akan sulit jika dianalisa dengan menggunakan solusi eksak. Salah
satu pendekatan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan
metode elemen hingga. Untuk mengetahui performa dari elemen ini, maka hasil
yang diperoleh berupa nilai displacement dan gaya dalam, akan dibandingkan
dengan hasil dari Elemen DKMQ-24 dan juga nilai eksak pada Benchmark Test.
ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the modeling of shell structures using MITC-24 elements
and Naghdi shell theory. Since the shape of the shell structure is complex, it will
be difficult to analyze by using exact solution. Therefore, finite element method is
one of the approaches to solve this problem. In order to know more about the
performance of these elements, the results that we obtain in displacement and
internal load value, will be compared with the result of DKMQ-24 elements and
also the exact value of the Benchmark Test."
