"Gagasan kaum neoliberalis bahwa single market Uni Eropa meningkatkan lapangan pekerjaan, harga lebih murah, terjadi spesialisasi produksi dan meningkatnya pekerja migran berimplikasi pada munculnya modus baru dalam pasar tenaga kerja yakni fleksibilitas yang memungkinkan perusahaan untuk mentransfer resiko bisnis kepada para pekerja. Keberadaan sistem kerja paruh waktu, shift dan kontrak tanpa jam kerja serta outsourcing menjadi persoalan pelik bagi pekerja, utamanya pekerja migran. Di Inggris, timbul persoalan sosial-ekonomi yang dialami pekerja migran. Akibat sistem kerja yang fleksibel dalam pasar tenaga kerja, pekerja migran mengalami prekariatisasi - kerentanan secara sosial-ekonomi laiknya eksploitasi dan teralienasi - dan bekerja dalam ketiadaan jaminan pekerjaan tetap dan ketiadaan jaminan dalam bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis deterministik single market Uni Eropa yang menyebabkan terjadinya prekariatisasi terhadap pekerja migran di Inggris periode 2015-2018. Dengan menggunakan teori prekariatisme dari Guy Standing dan konsep Flexibility Labour Market sebagai landasan teoritis dan metode kualitatif eksplanasi dengan pendekatan interdisipliner ilmu, ditemukan bahwa single market Uni Eropa dan pasar tenaga kerja fleksibel merupakan skema kekuatan kapitalis untuk menguasai pekerja migran dengan cara membuat pekerja migran selalau dalam kondisi prekaritas sehingga dapat dieksploitasi dan teralienasi; bahwa mobilitas para pekerja migran dimaksudkan untuk mendorong produktifitas, profitabilitas perusahaan dan merangsang perdagangan Inggris; bahwa keleluasaan yang diperoleh perusahaan-perusahaan di Inggris untuk mengeksploitasi sebagai akibat mata rantai single market, menyebabkan pekerja migran selalu dalam posisi rentan tanpa adanya jaminan rasa aman dalam pekerjaan dan pendapatan serta hubungan sosial pekerja migran; bahwa pekerja migran digiring masuk ke dalam fragmentasi struktur ekonomi global sebagai homo sacer yang eksis berdasarkan kepentingan kekuatan kapitalis, bahwa kondisi prekaritas yang dialami pekerja migran memungkinkan penyatuan kesadaran sebagai suatu kelas sosial baru untuk melakukan perlawanan terhadap kekuatan neoliberalis yang mengeksploitasinya. Ini dapat menjadi semacam social text yang melekat kuat dalam memori sosial pekerja migran.
The neoliberalist idea that the single EU market increases employment, lower prices, specialization of production and increases in migrant workers implies the emergence of a new mode of labor market flexibility that allows companies to transfer business risks to workers. The existence of a part-time work system, shifts and contracts without working hours as well as outsourcing is a difficult problem for workers, especially migrant workers. In the UK, socio-economic problems arise for migrant workers. As a result of the flexible work system in the labor market, g, migrant workers experience precariatization - socio-economic vulnerability such as exploitation and alienation - and work in the absence of permanent employment security and insecurity in employment. This study aims to analyze the deterministic single market of the European Union which causes the precariatization of migrant workers in the UK for the 2015-2018 period. By using the theory of precariatism from Guy Standing and the concept of Flexibility Labor Market as a theoretical basis and qualitative method of explanation with an interdisciplinary approach, it is found that the single market of the European Union and the flexible labor market are schemes of capitalist power to dominate migrant workers by making migrant workers always in precarious conditions so that they can exploited and alienated; that the mobility of migrant workers is intended to boost productivity, company profitability and stimulate UK trade; that the flexibility that British companies have to exploit as a result of the single market link, leaves migrant workers in a vulnerable position without guarantees of security in employment and income as well as migrant workers' social relations; that migrant workers are led into the fragmentation of the global economic structure as ‘homo sacer’ that exist based on the interests of capitalist power, that the conditions of pre-employment experienced by migrant workers allow the unification of consciousness as a new social class to fight against the capitalist forces exploiting them. This possibility becomes a kind of social text that is always firmly attached to the social memory of migrant workers."
