"The author of this article studied the psychological dynamics of the three theatre directors participated in the Jakarta Theatre Festival. This article was based on a theory - driven qualitative research. Henry A Murray's personology theory was used as the frame of analysis. There were three subject deeply interviewed and the results were analyzed by pattern matching technique. The findings showed that all the three subject had motivational dynamics as explained by Murray is his his personology theory. The main motive found in the subjects was creating excellent performance on stage. The need of spectactors satisfaction prestige and the facilities for aesthetic arrangement were intertwined factor need of excellent performance. The pressuring conditions (press) which would help or hinder the directors creative process were the main actors and the supportive actors capabilities, support and/or compliance and finding the ways to fulfill daily material needs. They wanted to learn from the situation faced and spectactors satisfaction. They also wanted to develop their esteem and pride of creative ideas manifestation. Those were the strong motivation found in the subjects in order to be able to still work in spite of the barriers found in the thetre world."

"Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran cognitive absorption dan motivational affordance terhadap in-game purchase intention dalam permainan di kalangan pemain game komputer Generasi Z di Jakarta dengan fokus khusus pada game Valorant. cognitive absorption adalah tingkat keadaan psikologis dimana seseorang terlibat dalam melakukan tugas tanpa menyadari bahwa waktu telah berlalu, yang baik bagi para pemain game karena mereka mencoba mendapatkan XP. motivational affordance merujuk pada karakteristik dalam permainan yang membuat pemain kembali bermain atau melakukan pembelian dalam permainan (pembelian dalam permainan). Topik ini didekati melalui Metode Penelitian Kuantitatif, di mana pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mendistribusikan survei online kepada para pemain Valorant dalam demografi tertentu. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa cognitive absorption secara signifikan berpengaruh positif dengan niat pembelian dalam permainan, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa jika seseorang semakin terlibat dalam permainan, maka kesediaannya untuk membayar meningkat. Demikian pula, motivational affordance secara signifikan berkorelasi dengan niat pembelian, menunjukkan bahwa elemen permainan yang meningkatkan motivasi juga efektif dalam mendorong pengeluaran mikrotransaksi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa skenario permainan harus dibuat menarik dan memuaskan untuk meningkatkan perputaran dari transaksi uang nyata. Studi ini lebih jauh berkontribusi dengan mengungkap perilaku pemain esports yang belum pernah dilaporkan sebelumnya berdasarkan tinjauan literatur yang mendalam dan menawarkan saran praktis yang efektif bagi para praktisi dalam merancang permainan, serta wawasan tentang strategi monetisasi permainan yang ditargetkan pada pasar Generasi Z di Jakarta.

This research explores the role of cognitive absorption and motivational affordance on intention to in-game purchase behavior among Generation Z computer game players in Jakarta by putting specific attention upon Valorant game. Cognitive absorption i.e. when games draw the player deep without one realizing and reaching a state of immersion while playing whereas motivational affordance refers to characteristics within a game that try to get player(s) back into gameplay or purchase something (in-game purchases). This study was approached through a Quantitative Research Method where data collection happens with the help of distribution of online surveys to the Valorant players from a specific demographic. Results show a positive and statistically significant relationship between cognitive absorption and in-game purchase intention such that players demonstrating high levels of immersion are more likely to spend money on the game. Likewise, motivational affordance was significantly related to purchase intention, indicating that aspects of the game which raise levels of motivation also successfully lead to spending money on microtransactions. Such results stress the need to create immersive and rewarding game scenarios in order to raise turnover from real-money transactions. This research expands the boundaries of what is known about player behavior through an understanding of e-sports and provides practitioners with practical insights when developing games, as well as insight into in-game monetization strategies for Generation Z in Jakarta. "

"Skripsi ini menganalisis masalah 'aku-manusia' dalam naskah drama asli yang dihasilkan pada Festival Teater Jakarta periode 2008-2013. Kondisi 'aku?manusia?yang muncul melalui naskah drama memiliki keterpengaruhan dari masa transisi politik di Indonesia. Adanya pengaruh dari masa pemerintahan Orde Baru, gerakan reformasi, sampai pemerintahan Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono periode kedua terekam dalam drama-drama ini melalui masalah tentang relasi manusia dengan diri sendiri, kekuasaan, dan sistem masyarakat. Tiga relasi ini menghasilkan pokok-pokok persoalan manusia masa kini, yaitu penyalahgunaan kebebasan, ketidakpercayaan masyarakat terhadap pemerintah, serta adanya gejala disintegrasi. Persoalan tersebut menampilkan drama-drama dengan suasana suram dan humor yang satir.

This thesis analyzed the problem of 'I-human' in the original drama of Festival Teater Jakarta from 2008 until 2013. The condition of 'I'?human?in the original drama has been influenced by the transition phase of Indonesia's politics. The influence of Orde Baru, reformation movement until the Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's last governance had been documented in the dramas of human relations with themselves, power, and also the society. These three relations had produced main problems of human in the recent period, that is freedom abusement, civil distrust of government, and the symptoms of disintegration. Those problems showed a dark and satirical humor of the dramas. "

"Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran yang lebih mendalam mengenai kemampuan resiliensi dan nilai motivasional, serta berbagai faktor yang mendukung resiliensi penyintas peristiwa di Halmahera, bagian dari konflik di Maluku Utara yang tinggal di Bitung. Resiliensi dapat dipahami sebagai kualitas personal yang memungkinkan seseorang untuk melampaui kondisi sulit yang dihadapi dapat dipahami sebagai resiliensi (Connor & Davidson, 2003). Nilai dijelaskan sebagai konsep atau kepercayaan yang terkait dengan keinginan atau tingkah laku pada situasi spesifik yang mengarahkan pemilihan atau evaluasi dari tingkah laku dan kejadian dalam derajat kepentingan yang berbeda (Schwartz, 1992) yang terdiri dari 10 tipe nilai motivasional.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method yang melibatkan 58 partisipan yang mengisi kuesioner Connor Davidson Resilience Scale-10 dan Portrait Values Qouestionaire. Penelitian juga melibatkan 12 partisipan focus group discussion yang membahas tentang pengalaman, hal-hal pendukung dan nilai yang terkait dengan resiliensi.
Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa perempuan memiliki kemampuan resiliensi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan laki-laki. Temuan lain menunjukkan perbedaan usia dan jenis kelamin turut menentukan prioritas nilai yang dianut partisipan. Berbagai faktor seperti perhatian keluarga, dukungan sosial, dan keterlibatan dalam aktivitas agama ditemukan mendukung proses adaptasi dan upaya untuk bangkit. Temuan dalam penelitian ini penting untuk dibahas dan dapat digunakan untuk merancang program intervensi untuk membantu pihak lain yang mungkin mengalami pengalaman serupa.

This study aims to provide a better picture about human resilience and motivational values, as well as the other various factors that support resilience in Halmahera incident (connected to Maluku conflict) survivors, who live in Bitung. Resilience refers to personal qualities that enable one to thrive in the face of adversity (Connor & Davidson, 2003). Values are concepts or beliefs that pertain to desirable end states or behaviors which transcend specific situations and guide selection or evaluation of behavior and events that are ordered by relative importance (Schwartz, 1992).
Using a mixed method approach, this study is involving 58 participants using Connor Davidson Resilience Scale-10 and Portrait Values Questionaire. In addition to that, 12 participants took part in the focus group discussion that discussed their experiences, protective factors, and values that help them to become resilience.
Results show that women have a higher resilience than men. Other findings shows age and gender differences also determine the priority of participant's values. Various factors such as family care, social support, and religious beliefs are found to support the adaptation and bounce back process. This study has an important implication to provide a broader picture of resilience and group values that can be used to develop an intervention program to help others who may have similar experiences.

"Tesis ini membahas pembelajaran di tempat kerja sebagai metode untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dengan motivasi belajar dan persepsi dukungan organisasi sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 228 karyawan instansi pemerintah yaitu Badan PPSDM Kesehatan sebagai responden. Hasil analisa data menggunakan model persamaan struktural menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi karyawan dipengaruhi oleh pembelajaran di tempat kerja, dan hanya persepsi dukungan organisasi sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Motivasi belajar karyawan walaupun dipengaruhi oleh persepsi dukungan organisasi namun tidak mempengaruhi pembelajaran di tempat kerja secara signifikan. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa komponen pembelajaran di tempat kerja (formal, informal dan insidental) jika dipadukan akan berdampak pada kompetensi karyawan namun pelaksanaannya perlu mendapat dukungan dari organisasi.

The focus of this study is workplace learning as a method for improving competencies with motivation to learn and perceived organizational support as factors that influence it. This research is a quantitative study involving 228 employees of the Agency for Development and Empowerment Human Resources of Health as respondents. Results of the data analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) showed that the competence of employees affected by workplace learning and perceived organizational support only as factors that influence it. Employees motivation to learn although influenced by perceived organizational support but does not affect workplace learning significantly Results of the study suggest that the components of workplace learning (formal, informal and incidental) if combined would have an impact on employee competence but need the support from the organization."
