"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai usaha perbatikan di Desa Trusmi-Cirebon yang masih tergolong industri rumahan, namun dapat berkembang dengan baik dan dapat membantu perekonomian masyarakat di Desa Trusmi-Cirebon, serta melestarikan seni batik cirebon. Metode dan sumber yang digunakan dalam penelitian tersebut adalah metode sejarah, yaitu: melalui tahap heuristik, kritik sumber sehingga didapatkan fakta sejarah yang mendekati kenyataan peristiwa yang ditulis. Selanjutnya dilaku kan tahap interpretasi data, dan tahap terakhir adalah historiografi. Hasil temuan ini menunjukan bahwa pada tahun 1950-1987 adanya dinamika industri batik di Desa Trusmi-Cirebon karena perubahan dalam memproduksi dan mendistribusikan industri batik tersebut. Eksistensi industri batik di Trusmi perlahan meningkat setelah mengalami perubahan proses (teknik) pembuatan batik dan upaya dari pemerintah untuk mengembangkan industri tekstil memberikan dampak yang baik untuk Trusmi. Kesuksesan industri batik trusmi ini mampu membantu kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat TrusmiCirebon.

This undergraduate thesis discusses the business of batik in Trusmi-Cirebon Village, which is still classified as home industry, but can grow well and can help the social economy in Trusmi-Cirebon Village, and preserve the art of batik cirebon. The methods and sources used in the research are historical methods, namely: through the heuristic stages, source criticism so as to get historical facts close to the reality of the events written. Next is the data interpretation stage, and the last stage is historiography.

These findings show that in 1950-1987 the dynamics of batik industry in Trusmi-Cirebon Village due to changes in producing and distributing the batik industry. The existence of the batik industry in Trusmi is slowly increasing after experiencing changes in the process (technique) of batik making and the efforts of the government to develop the textile industry gives a good impact to Trusmi. The success of trusmi batik industry is able to help the socio-economic life of Trusmi-Cirebon community."
