kembali memori mengenai kata-kata.
pemirsa) x 2(Kata-kata simpel/kompleks).
This study aimed to examine the influence of audience to memory recall of words. This study used 2(No
Audience/Audience condition) x 2(Simple/complex words) design. The participants of this study were
university students at University of Queensland (12 females, 3 males). They were each asked to recall as many
words under four conditions, which are recalling simple words in no audience condition, recalling simple words
in audience condition, complex words in no audience condition, and complex words in audience condition.
Results indicated that participants significantly recalled more words in the list of simple words than complex
words but no significant difference in audience effect was found. However, result showed that participants
significantly recalled more simple words in no audience condition than complex words in audience condition.
From the results, it can be concluded that presence of audience did not influence individual?s memory recall of

Several mental health applications are known to have psychoeducational features in the format of text. However, users complained that the typography of psychoeducational articles is too dense, which causes difficulty in processing and remembering. This can cause the user to stop using the application. Typography is known to affect individual memory of text, but the research that focuses on text hierarchy is still few. In addition, it is suspected that the interaction of illustrations and typography text hierarchy affects memory. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effect of typography text hierarchy and illustrations on memory. The research method used is quantitative experimental with a 2x2 factorial design. The participants in this study were 120 (n = 120) university students aged 17-30 years, who’s native in Bahasa Indonesia, and able to use smartphones and the internet. This study found that text hierarchy improves memory. On the contrary, illustration was found to negatively affect memory. Moreover, it was found that the influence of typography text hierarchy on memory is affected by illustration. Based on these findings, it is suggested to pay attention to the use of illustrations in articles, so that it won’t negatively affect one’s ability to remember text."

Information received after an event, or post-event information, is susceptible to influence eyewitness memory of the actual event. If an eyewitness receives post-event information that is inconsistent with the event, the witness has difficulty recalling the original event, leading to a tendency for the details reported to be less accurate. This study employed a between-subjects multigroup design post-test only experimental design (N=90). The research involved three groups of participants: an experimental group receiving post-event information from either a credible or non-credible source, and a control group receiving no post-event information. he results of a one-way independent measures ANOVA indicated a significant effect of the source credibility of post-event information on the accuracy of eyewitness memory among the groups receiving credible, non-credible, and no post-event information. Post-hoc analysis using Tukey's HSD revealed that participants who did not receive post-event information had significantly higher true memory scores compared to those who received post-event information from non-credible sources. This research is expected to serve as a reference and guide in efforts to improve the efficiency and accuracy of eyewitness testimony."

"How is the memory of traumatic events, such as genocide and torture, inscribed within human bodies? In this book, Paul Connerton discusses social and cultural memory by looking at the role of mourning in the production of histories and the reticence of silence across many different cultures. In particular he looks at how memory is conveyed in gesture, bodily posture, speech and the senses - and how bodily memory, in turn, becomes manifested in cultural objects such as tattoos, letters, buildings and public spaces. It is argued that memory is more cultural and collective than it is individual. This book will appeal to researchers and students in anthropology, linguistic anthropology, sociology, social psychology and philosophy."
