The study tends to explore the existence and forms of institutions in which jobs and welfare are managed in kongsi fisher groups in Pramuka island using the key concept of political ecology, institution, theory of groups and commons. Theory of groups which has been written by Olson (1965) will be used to explain individual action within the group that is influenced by and to impact toward the group.
This study describes how institution works as Haller (2002: 10) wrote that the way institution evolves and change as well as impact it brings to the individual and group's economic strategy of its actors, which has been debatable issue discussed by different theories in history of economy, political science and anthropology. Institutions seen here as both formal and informal rules of the game, such as obstacles, norms, values and regulations. Those contribute to incentives that has been chased by groups and indivuals, as well as construct the structure of action and interaction of people, especially in economic activities, collective action and the use of sustainable resources."

ABSTRACT
Pramuka Island, located in North Kepulauan Seribu, is a micro island with land area around 16Ha, surrounded by vast waters. Should be classified into micro island, Pramuka Island is considered too small according to definition of small island in UU No.27 Tahun 2007 about Management of Coastal and Small Islands, which maximum land area is 2000 km2. It has an impact on the lack of appropriate regulations to accommodate the peculiarities of micro island, including it?s spatial planning. Therefore, through this undergraduated thesis, I want to find out how the spatial planning works on Pramuka Island during this time, and how the spatial planning supposed to be in accordance with the peculiarities of the micro island. The result is that, the existing spatial planning has not yet accommodated the peculiarities of Pulau Pramuka as a micro island. Micro island?s spatial planning should have spatial structure and spatial pattern derived from comprehensive site analysis of the micro island, have integration between land space and sea space within a group of micro island, and have disaster mitigation aspect through adaptive strategy that is implied onto the site.

Preliminary Study on Marine Microalgae from Pramuka Island Waters, Thousand Islands: The
exploration on marine microalgae from Pramuka Island waters has been done on September 2004. The research is one of the parts of microalgae exploration researches?including isolation and collection?that aim to invent and apply the advantages of microafgae as natural resources, continuously. The sampling site based on the compass direction i.e. north, east, south, and west of Pramuka Island. In the first examination have been found 20 genera from 3 divisions could be found in Pramuka Island waters. Those are 1 genus of Cyanophyta/ Cyanobacteria, 16 genus of Bacillariophyceae of Chromophyta, and 3 genus of Dinophyta. Other microalgae from those three divisions and Chlorophyta and Haptophyta also can be found but still very difficult to be identify, because the microalgae is very tiny. Continued research on microalgae diversity still need to be done in order to better understanding the floristic study of microalgae from Thousand Islands.

ABSTRACT
Observation on the interspecific competition between Callyspongia aerizusa sponge and scleractinian coral was done at Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta by SCUBA diving. It was observed that Callyspogia sp sponge attached to or grew nearby the scleractinian coral that caused necrosis to the scleractinian polyps. To analyze whether Callyspongia aerizusa sponge released allelochemical that caused the necrosis of scleractinian polyps, 1 liter of sea water in between sponge and coral was taken by syringe equipped with filter paper along with the Callyspongia aerizusa sponge sample. The seawater was extracted with liquid liquid extraction using ethyl acetate while the sponge sample was extracted with ethyl acetate as well by maceration method. Each extracts was dried with vacuum rotary evaporator and analyzed with HPLC RP column. The result showed that the sea water extract contain 4 major compounds at RT 30.52, 35.96, 37.17, and 38.79 that were also found in the sponge extract. This suggests that Callyspongia aerizusa sponge release allelochemicals into sea water to compete and kill the scleractinian coral."

The Thousand Islands in the form of islands has hampered the implementation of development programs. Electricity consumption depends on the number of electrical equipment owned, the size of the residence in addition to the increase in electricity consumption for the household sector due to increased population and per capita income. The concept of a household electrical lifestyle is related to social aspects and energy consumption behavior. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in electricity consumption based on electricity users in Pramuka Island, Panggang Island and Tidung Island and explain how the income, building area and use of electronic equipment relate to electricity consumption. The questionnaire was used to obtain data on building area, income, and use of electronic equipment. Spatial analysis is used to see differences in spatial electricity consumption, statistical analysis is used to see the relationship between building area, income and use of electronic equipment with electricity consumption. The result is that the commercial sector is located along the coastline, the household sector is spread in the middle, while the mixed sector is located in the middle of the household sector. There is a relationship between income and use of electronic equipment with electricity consumption, while building area has no relationship with electricity consumption. But this variable does not apply to the commercial sector, because it has a behavior of electricity usage that is different from other sectors."

"Indonesia is a centre of global marine bio-resources, particularly on its coral reefs ecosystem. Besides its physical ftmction, coral reefs also provide an aesthetic
function. This beauty of these reefs pioneered the ornamental fish hobbyists to keep the corals and marine iish in their own aquarium tank. Marine ornamental fish trade from Indonesia to the world had started around the early of '80s and still
continues to improve until today. Sustainable utilization plan in order to reduce the exploitation pressure on the reefs, particularly for aquarium industry, is done through coral captivity or known as coral culture. However, since the
commencement of this activity there has been no research yet which can explain on the gap between the action regulation on coral culture for the aquarium industry and its implementation in fields."

The focus of this study is the needs of the information society on the Panggang and Pramuka islands represented by groups of fishermen, housewives and high school students in support of the activities of their daily lives. This research is approach by qualitative case study method. The results of this study found that, the Thousand Islands Public Library Jakarta meets the information needs of the community through collections of books. However, the societies do not familiar to access these collections. The results are needs assessment and information dissemination patterns showing that the societies used to use informal information sources. It is influenced by indigenous (Indigenous Knowledge) that has been embedded in the past, and the close family ties between individuals to one another. Therefore, the public library as a public facility is expected to be closer to the patterns of service in accordance with the local culture, making it useful in that environment."

To investigate antifeedant activity of methanol extract of Archaster typicus against reef fishes a field experiment was conducted at Pramuka Island Watery, Seribu Island, DKI Jakarta. Archaster typicus samples were extracted using maceration method while taking methanol as the solvent. The antifeedant assay was conducted by attaching the artificial food that contains methanol extract of Archaster typicus at natural concentration (0.0245 g/ml), jelly, fish food, and food dye, using safety pins to propylene ropes. After that, the artificial food was observed at artificial reef in 3 m depth. The amount of artificial food eaten and left by reef fishes was also observed. Chi square analysis for α (p) = 0.01 revealed that there is correlation between eaten and not eaten of treat food to addition of methanol extract of Archaster typicus. That means methanol extract of Archaster typicus has antifeedant activity againts reef fishes. That was beyond saponin content in the extract."
