"Tesis ini membahas persepsi pemilik dan pengelola bangunan di Kawasan Taman Fatahillah terhadap program revitalisasi Kota Tua Jakarta yang dijalankan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari studi pustaka, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pandangan para pemilik dan pengelola bangunan, aspek negatif revitalisasi masih lebih besar dibandingkan aspek positifnya. Oleh karena itu harus dilakukan pembenahan pada tiga bidang, yaitu manajemen pemerintahan, perencanaan revitalisasi dan pendidikan masyarakat.

The focus of the study is the perception of building owners’ and building users’ of the Taman Fatahillah area on the Old City of Jakarta revitalization program initiated by the provincial government of Jakarta. This study use qualitative method. The data were collected by means of deep interview, observation and library research. This study concludes that based on the building owners’ and building users perspectives, the negative aspect of the revitalization is still greater than the positive aspects. To resolve that, three domains needs to be addressed: government management, revitalization planning and public education."

"Mengubah fungsi sebuah bangunan menjadi fungsi yang berbeda dari sebelumnya merupakan permasalahan yang tidak mudah diatasi. Terlebih lagi apabila bangunan tersebut adalah bangunan cagar budaya dan fungsi yang selanjutnya adalah museum. Permasalahan yang saat ini muncul temyata keberadaan museum ini pun akhirnya malah memberi kesan bahwa museum itu adalah bangunan yang angker, sepi, tidak menghibur dan kumuh. Kenyataan menunjukan bahwa dengan ditetapkannya fungsi ini pada bangunan-bangunan tua di kota Jakarta khususnya di kawasan Taman Fatahillah ternyata masih belum berhasil. Sesuai dengan pendapat Morris yang mengacu pada pendapat Ruskin, penggantian (replacement) dari bagian-bagian yang hilang dari sebuah bangunan haruslah terintergerasi secara harmonis dengan keseluruhan, tetapi di waktu yang sama harus dapat menjadi pembeda dari keasliannya sehingga restorasi tidak akan mempersalahkan bukti-bukti artistik atau sejarah. Sedangkan museum pada sebuah bangunan haruslah dapat bersifat mendidik sekaligus menghibur dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mempelajari lebih mendalam dan lebih fokus terhadap obyek penelitian yaitu museum sebagai hasil adaptasi dari bangunan tua.
Dalam analisis penulis akan menggunakan metode pattern-matching dalam multiple case studies berupa penelusuran perubahan pola ruang dan elemen arsitektur lainnya serta membandingkan dengan contoh yang dianggap berhasil pada obyek penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menemukan bahwa proses adaptive reuse memang telah dijalankan pada masing-masing museum itu. Perubahan yang paling terlihat adalah pada perubahan pola sirkulasi yang lebih cenderung menerus. Perubahan ini menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan pola ruang. Tetapi perubahan itu tidak menimbulkan suasana baru yang membedakan antara yang lama dengan yang baru. Sedangkan cara untuk melakukan perubahan ini ternyata berbeda antara museum yang satu dengan museum yang lainnya. Hal ini disebabkan karena untuk masing-masing bangunan tersebut awalnya memiliki fungsi yang berbeda dan selanjutnya dijadikan sebagai museum dengan klasifikasi yang berbeda pula.
Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa proses Adaptive Reuse yang dijalankan pada bangunan-bangunan museum di kawasan Taman Fatahillah ternyata masih belum maksimal. Adanya keinginan untuk mengkonservasi dan mewujudkan bangunan museum itu ternyata masih lebih besar keinginan konservasinya. Hal ini menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas citra dari museum itu sendiri di Indonesia yang justru berbeda dari museum di luar negeri.

Changing function of a building to be a different function than before is a problem that not easy to solve. Especially when that building has used to be a cultural preserve and then changed to be a museum. The problem now is a fact about the surrounding of the museum that becomes looks scary, quiet, and unpleasant. The reality, showed that old buildings functioning as a museum in Jakarta, especially in Taman Fatahillah area, were not too success. According to Morris that referred to Ruskin 's opinion, replacement of the missing part of a building has to be harmonically integrated with all, but at the same time must be different with the origin so the restoration will not falsify the artistic or historic evidences. In the other part museum as a building should be educative, and also enjoyable and fun. This research employee?s case controls studies because its goals is to study in depth and more focusing on the object, museum, as an adaptation from an old building.
In the analysis, I apply pattern-matching method in multiple case studies, which search the changing of space pattern and other architectural elements, and also compare it with an example that considered being success as a research object before. In this research I found that adaptive reuse process was already begun in each museum. The change that looked dominantly was the space pattern. But it still does not give any differences between the old and the brand new one. And the approach for the change between one museum and others is completely different. It is because each wilding used to have its own function before it become a museum with different classification too.
My conclusion is that Adaptive Reuse process, which is used in museums in Taman Fatahillah area, was not run maximize. The desire to conserve is bigger than to perform the museums itself it makes a decline of the museums image in Indonesia that a different situation precisely happened in others of these nations.

"Program revitalisasi Kota Tua Jakarta dimulai pada tahun 2014 pada masa pemerintahan Joko Widodo yang kemudian dilanjutkan pada tahun 2017-2022 pada masa pemerintahan Anies Baswedan. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah program revitalisasi terpusat di area Taman Fatahilah sehingga mengakibatkan aktivitas sosial terkonsentrasi di area tersebut. Akibatnya area di sekitar Taman Fatahilah ditinggalkan dan dianggap terbatasnya peluang bisnis. Area sekitarnya menjadi tempat relokasi PKL yang sebelumnya berdagang di Taman Fatahilah dan tempat pembuangan sampah kering sehingga mengalami degradasi lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengusulkan konsep pengembangan kawasan yang dapat diimplementasikan di Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis ANT, analisis statistik deskriptif,dan analisis spasial. Hasil penelitian adalah adanya ketimpangan pembangunan di area Taman Fatahillah dan Taman Kota Intan (lokasi binaan) menjadi perhatian dalam penelitian ini. Peningkatan akses pejalan kaki serta kegiatan wisata dan perekonomian terpusat di area Taman Fatahillah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, yang menjadi perhatian dalam mengembangkan kawasan sejarah adalah peningkatan aksesiblitas dengan menyediakan pedestrian yang terintegrasi dengan penggunaan lahan wisata. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Perencanaan pengembangan kawasan sejarah perlu memperhatikan potensi wisata dan ekonomi yang ada di dalam kawasan tersebut. Selain itu, dalam proses merencanakan suatu kawasan sejarah perlu keterlibatan multi-aktor, termasuk masyarakat.

The revitalization program for Jakarta's Old Town began in 2014 during the administration of Joko Widodo and continued from 2017 to 2022 under the administration of Anies Baswedan. The issue addressed in this study is that the revitalization efforts have been concentrated in the Taman Fatahilah area, leading to a centralization of social activities there. Consequently, the surrounding areas have been neglected, perceived as having limited business opportunities. These areas have become relocation sites for street vendors previously operating in Taman Fatahilah and have been used as dry waste disposal sites, resulting in environmental degradation. The purpose of this study is to propose a development concept that can be implemented in the Old Town Jakarta area. The methods used in this study include Actor-Network Theory (ANT) analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, and spatial analysis. The findings highlight the disparity in development between the Taman Fatahilah area and Taman Kota Intan (a designated development site). There is a concentration of pedestrian access, tourism activities, and economic activities in the Taman Fatahilah area. Based on the results of this study, a key consideration in developing historical areas is improving accessibility by providing integrated pedestrian pathways with land use for tourism purposes. The conclusion of this research is that the planning and development of historical areas need to take into account the existing tourism and economic potential within the area. Additionally, the planning process for historical areas requires the involvement of multiple stakeholders, including the community."

Konsep Kota Kreatif yang dibawa oleh Charles Landry dan Fransco Bianchini telah menjadi tren di dunia sekitar sepuluh tahun terakhir. Dalam kota, terdapat sumber daya yang krusial, yaitu sumber daya manusia. Kota kreatif, mencoba mendorong dan mengakomodir kreativitas warganya. Kreativitas merupakan sesuatu yang berharga, yang memberi dukungan bagi keberhasilan kota. Beberapa kota di dunia, cenderung mengembangkan kawasan bersejarahnya dalam usaha menuju kota kreatif. Nilai sejarah pada kawasan bersejarah dapat menjadi magnet untuk mendatangkan orang dari kota maupun negara lain. Di lain sisi, sejarah dapat menjadi inspirasi dan ilham untuk kreativitas. Kawasan bersejarah memiliki potensi lain yang dapat mendukung sebuah kota menjadi kota yang kreatif. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari keempat aspek, yaitu ekonomi, sosial, budaya.

"Bangunan cagar budaya di kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta dari tahun ke tahun semakin terancam oleh banjir. Identifikasi resiko kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh banjir belum menjadi perhatian dalam pengelolaan bangunan cagar budaya di kawasan Kota tua. Penilaian tingkat bahaya, kerentanan dan kemampuan penanganan pada setiap bangunan cagar budaya adalah informasi penting untuk proses perencanaan mitigasi bencana. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu pendekatan penilaian kemungkinan dampak resiko kerusakan yang diakibatkan oleh banjir pada bangunan cagar budaya, khususnya pada kejadian banjir tahun 2013.
Analisis resiko yang dilakukan pada 101 bangunan cagar budaya di evaluasi melalui metode Spatial Multi Criteria Evaluation (SMCE). SMCE merupakan sebuah proses yang menggabungkan dan mentransformasikan data geografi menjadi keluaran untuk membantu pengambilan keputusan. Paramater untuk faktor bahaya banjir (ketinggian genangan, lama genangan dan frekuensi genangan), kerentanan cagar budaya (golongan bangunan cagar budaya), kerentanan fisik (indeks konservasi, umur bangunan, bahan bangunan), dan kemampuan penanganan (penanganan pasca banjir) digunakan untuk mengkalkulasi besaran resiko pada setiap bangunan cagar budaya.
Pola distribusi keruangan memperlihatkan resiko tinggi berada pada wilayah utara kawasan Kota Tua (zona Sunda Kelapa) dan wilayah barat (zona Pekojan dan Pecinan), sedangkan tingkat resiko terendah berada di bagian tengah kawasan Kota Tua (zona kawasan Fatahillah). Implikasi resiko kerusakan tidak hanya berdampak pada bangunan itu sendiri, tetapi pada integritas setiap zona yang merepresentasikan ciri khas setiap wilayah (nilai budaya, historis, sosial, arsitektur).

Heritage building in Jakarta Old Town area threatening by flood every years. Spatial risk damage identification caused by flood is rarely getting attention for heritage building in old city heritage management. Hazard, vulnerability and coping assessment in every heritage building is a key information for disaster mitigation planning. Hence, this research purpose is to developing an approach to assessing risk damage possibilities that caused by flood to heritage building, particularly flood event in 2013.
Risk assessment of 101 heritage building has been evaluated through Spatial Multi Criteria Evaluation (SMCE). SMCE is a process combining and transforming geographical data into specific output to help decision making. Factor parameter for flood hazard (flood depth, flood duration and flood frequency), heritage vulnerability (heritage building rank), physical vulnerability (conservation index, heritage building age, and heritage building structural material), and coping capacity (post disaster action) have been used to calculate risk impact in every single heritage building in study area.
Distribution pattern show high risk area is located at north Jakarta Old Town area (Sunda Kelapa Zone) and west area (Pekojan and Pecinan Zone). The lowest risk concentrate at the center of Jakarta Old Town area (Fatahillah Zone). Risk damage implication not only potentially affect the heritage building, but each zone integrity which is representation the uniqueness of area (culture value, historical value, social value and architecture) possibly degraded."

"[Penelitian ini membahas mengenai evaluasi implementasi kebijakan revitalisasi kawasan Kota Tua di Jakarta. Jakarta sebagai ibukota negara memiliki suatu kawasan Kota Tua seluas ± 334 ha yang dulunya merupakan pusat kegiatan ekonomi dan pemerintahan pada tiga masa kekuasaan, dimulai dari masa pemerintahan Pangeran Jayakarta, masa penjajahan Portugis, dan masa penjajahan Belanda. Tingginya nilai
budaya dan sejarah di kawasan tersebut merupakan potensi pariwisata yang baik, oleh karena itu pemerintah DKI Jakarta membuat kebijakan revitalisasi Kota Tua Jakarta yang dimulai sejak masa pemerintahan Gubernur Ali Sadikin pada tahun 1970. Namun proses revitalisasi kawasan tersebut dianggap masih belum memenuhi harapan. Pada tahun 2014 revitalisasi dicanangkan kembali dengan diterbitkannya Peraturan Gubernur no. 36 tahun 2014 tentang Rencana Induk Kota Tua Jakarta dan
diselenggarakan kerjasama pemerintah-swasta melalui konsorsium JOTRC (Jakarta Old Town Revitalization Corp.). Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi kebijakan revitalisasi kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta, dan menganalisis evaluasi implementasi kebijakan revitalisasi kawasan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan post-positivis. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan yaitu implementasi kebijakan revitalisasi Kota Tua Jakarta masih belum efektif. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi belum efektifnya kebijakan revitalisasi Kota Tua Jakarta antara lain karena status kepemilikan bangunan-bangunan yang beragam antara pribadi, swasta/BUMN, dan Pemprov DKI Jakarta. Sedikitnya bangunan yang dimiliki Pemprov DKI Jakarta membuat proses revitalisasi terhambat, ditambah lagi belum adanya leading sector dan minimnya SDM maupun anggaran dari Unit Pengelola Kawasan (UPK) Kota Tua Jakarta sebagai pengelola kawasan
tersebut. Namun dilakukannya kerjasama pemerintah-swasta dengan keberadaan konsorsium JOTRC merupakan upaya yang baik dalam melakukan percepatan pembangunan di kawasan Kota Tua. Beberapa saran yang diajukan dalam penelitian antara lain implementasi badan otorita yang mengelola kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta secepatnya sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam Pergub DKI Jakarta no. 36 tahun 2014, pelibatan ahli cagar budaya dalam setiap pemugaran di kawasan Kota Tua sehingga tidak merusak atau menghilangkan nilai historis bangunan tersebut, serta pelibatan masyarakat lokal dalam pembangunan kawasan Kota Tua.

This research discusses the evaluation of policy implementation of the revitalization of the Old Town area in Jakarta. Jakarta as the capital of the country has an Old Town area of ± 334 ha which was once the center of economic activity and government for three reigns, starting from the reign of Prince Jayakarta, the Portuguese colonial period, and the Dutch colonial period. The high value of the culture and history of the region is a potential for tourism, therefore, the local government make the revitalization of Jakarta old town area, which began during the reign of Governor Ali Sadikin in 1970. However, the process of revitalization of the area still has not met expectations. In 2014 revitalization proclaimed back with the issuance of the Peraturan Gubernur no. 36 tahun 2014 tentang Rencana Induk Kota Tua and held public-private partnership through a consortium called JOTRC (Jakarta Old Town Revitalization Corp.). The objective of this research is to analyze the factors that influence policy implementation of revitalization of the old city area, and analyzing the evaluation of policy implementation of revitalization of the region. The method used in this research is qualitative method with post-positivist approach. Results of this of this research is that the implementation of the Jakarta Old Town revitalization policies is still ineffective. Factors that influence the implementation of the policy is because of the ownership status of the buildings which vary between personal, private/state-owned enterprise, and local government plus the absence of leading sector and the lack of human resources and the budget of the Unit Pengelola Kawasan (UPK) Kota Tua as the area manager. But the establishment of JOTRC as a form of publicprivate partnership for revitalization of Jakarta old town is a good effort to accelerate the development in that area. Some suggestions from this research are immediate implementation of autonomous body that manages the old city area as mandated in Pergub no. 36 tahun 2014, the involvement of cultural heritage experts in development of the Old City area so as not to damage the historical value of the building, and empowerment of local communities. "Jumlah kunjungan wisatawan merupakan salah satu aspek terpenting bagi setiap destinasi wisata, termasuk Kota Tua Jakarta. Ditutupnya Kota Tua Jakarta untuk sementara sebagai dampak dari pemberlakuan pembatasan kegiatan sosial akibat covid-19 dan dilakukannya revitalisasi pada tahun 2022 menyebabkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan menurun cukup signifikan. Penerapan place branding dan place image diduga dapat menjadi solusi untuk membangkitkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan berdasarkan pengambilan keputusan untuk berkunjung. Pasca revitalisasi, Gubernur Provinsi DKI Jakarta menetapkan branding "Batavia" untuk Kota Tua Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan place branding dan place image di Kota Tua Jakarta setelah revitalisasi tahun 2022 serta pengaruhnya terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 118 orang responden, wawancara, serta observasi lapang. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis spasial deskriptif dan analisis statistik dengan regresi linier berganda.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas penerapan place branding di Kota Tua Jakarta setelah revitalisasi tahun 2022 dapat dikatakan baik. Sementara itu, variabel place image berada pada kategori sangat baik. Beberapa tempat yang menurut wisatawan paling berkesan, yaitu Museum Sejarah Jakarta atau Museum Fatahillah, Taman Fatahillah, dan Café Batavia. Citra tempat di Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta terdiri dari "tempat edukatif", "tempat bersantai", "tempat panas", "tempat berfoto", "tempat bersejarah", "tempat dengan desain yang bagus", dan "tempat yang mengharukan". Persebaran citra tempat di Kota Tua Jakarta berdasarkan jenisnya cenderung terpusat di sekitar kawasan Taman Fatahillah, karena tempat tersebut merupakan pusat dari Kota Tua Jakarta sebagai destinasi wisata. Hal ini juga didukung oleh persebaran lokasi atraksi wisata yang berada dalam jangkauan jarak umum pejalan kaki dari titik pusat Taman Fatahillah, sehingga wisatawan dapat dengan mudah mengunjungi tempat-tempat tersebut dan memiliki pengalaman serta memori yang lebih kuat. Lebih lanjut, place brandingdan place image memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan ke Kota Tua Jakarta setelah revitalisasi tahun 2022, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan variabel place image lebih dominan dalam memberikan pengaruh terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan, jika dibandingkan dengan place branding.

The number of tourist visits is one of the most important aspects for every tourist destination, including Kota Tua Jakarta. The temporary closure of Kota Tua Jakarta as a result of the implementation of restrictions on social activities due to Covid-19 and revitalization in 2022 caused the number of tourist visits to decline significantly. The application of place branding and place image is thought to be a solution to generate the number of tourist visits based on decision-making to visit. After the revitalization, the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province established the "Batavia" branding for Kota Tua Jakarta. This study aims to analyze the application of place branding and place image in Kota Tua Jakarta after revitalization in 2022 and its influence on tourist visiting decisions. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 118 respondents, interviews, and field observations. The analysis method used is descriptive spatial analysis and statistical analysis with multiple linear regression.
The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of place branding implementation in Kota Tua Jakarta after revitalization in 2022 can be said to be good. Meanwhile, the place image variable is in the very good category. Some of the places that tourists find most memorable are the Jakarta History Museum or Fatahillah Museum, Fatahillah Park, and Café Batavia. The place image in the Kota Tua Jakarta area consists of "educational place", "relaxing place", "hot place", "place to take pictures", "historical place", "place with good design", and "touching place". The distribution of place image in Kota Tua Jakarta based on its type tends to be centered around the Fatahillah Park area, because this place is the center of Kota Tua Jakarta as a tourist destination. This is also supported by the location of tourist attractions that are within the general pedestrian distance from the center point of Fatahillah Park, so that tourists can easily visit these places and have stronger experiences and memories. Furthermore, place branding and place image have a positive and significant influence on tourists' visiting decisions to Kota Tua Jakarta after revitalization in 2022, both partially and simultaneously. Based on the analysis conducted, the place image variable is more dominant in influencing tourists' visiting decisions, compared to place branding.

"ABSTRAK
Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang tinggi di kota tidak diimbangi dengan penyediaan infrastruktur yang memadai. Kawasan revitalisasi pantai utara Jakarta yang berbatasan langsung dan menerima dampak dari pengembangan reklamasi pantai di utara Jakarta digunakan sebagai model pembangunan yang didasarkan pada pendekatan ekologis.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji konsep infrastruktur perkotaan berkelanjutan di kawasan revitalisasi pantai utara Jakarta, yang merupakan pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan modal komunitas kota, kebutuhan infrastruktur kota dan komponen kota ekologis. Untuk menganalisis hubungan antar variabel, dilakukan analisis multivariat adaptasi dari Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variabel kompleks dan simultan. Variabel laten komponen kota ekologis bersama dimensi ekonomi dan sosial diuji kembali melalui uji keberlanjutan metode Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) dengan software RAP-ECOCITY (Rapid Appraisal for Ecological City) yang merupakan adaptasi dari RAP-FISH (Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries). Faktor yang mempengaruhi keberlanjutan terdiri dari tata guna lahan, jaringan prasarana, bangunan/pemukiman, serta sumber daya air. Nilai indeks keberlanjutannya adalah 56,27 yang mencerminkan infrastruktur kota di kawasan revitalisasi pantai utara Jakarta cukup berkelanjutan secara multidimensi dimana dimensi ekonomi sangat berkelanjutan dan dimensi sosial cukup berkelanjutan; sedangkan dimensi ekologi kurang berkelanjutan. Atribut sensitif yang menjadi faktor pengungkit dari dimensi ekologi adalah kepadatan penduduk atau jumlah penghuni dalam satu rumah dan keterjangkauan terhadap pelayanan angkutan umum, dari dimensi ekonomi adalah laju pertumbuhan ekonomi dan inflasi, sedangkan dari dimensi sosial adalah tingkat partisipasi sekolah dan jumlah pengangguran terbuka.

ABSTRAK
High economic growth in the city was not balanced with the provision of adequate infrastructure. Development of waterfront revitalization area north of Jakarta which is immediately adjacent to and receive the impact of the development on the north coast Jakarta reclamation is used as a model of development based on the ecological approach.
This study is aiming to examine the concept of sustainable urban infrastructure in the revitalization of the northern coast of Jakarta, which is an approach that integrates city community capital, the infrastructure demands of the city and the city ecological components. The relationship between the components is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is a multivariate analysis that analyzes the complex relationship between variables simultaneously. Obtained latent variables along with sosial and economic dimensions are re-tested through sustainability test methods Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) with the RAP-Ecocity software (Rapid Appraisal for Ecological City) which is an adaptation of the RAP-FISH (Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries). The factors influencing the sustainability consists of land use, the network infrastructure, building and water resources. The sustainability index is 56,27 which reflects the revitalization of the city's infrastructure in the northern coast of Jakarta is relatively sustainable with several characteristics multidimensionally. In term of economic dimension is very sustainable, in term of the social dimension is fair sustainable, but in term of ecological dimension is less sustainable. Sensitive attributes which are factors that determining the sustainability levers of ecological dimension is the population density or the number of occupants in the house and affordability of public transport services, the economic dimension is the rate of economic growth and inflation, while the social dimension is school participation rates and unemployment."

"Batavia merupakan wilayah yang memiliki sejarah panjang pada masa kolonial. Bangunan di Batavia memiliki perpaduan gaya akibat dari datangnya berbagai bangsa. Terciptalah akulturasi antara gaya kolonial dengan gaya tradisional Indonesia yang disebut Arsitektur Indis. Koningsplein merupakan pemukiman elit kolonial yang juga didiami oleh residen dan penjabat tinggi pemerintah di Weltevreden. Balai Kota yang merupakan tempat tinggal serta kantor Residen, memiliki perpaduan gaya antara Eropa dan tradisional yang diadaptasi dari perkembangan gaya abad 19 M. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Balai Kota Jakarta memiliki gaya Indische Empire dengan mengadaptasi gaya Neoklasik Romawi dari Eropa, vernakular Jawa dan Betawi dari Indonesia.

Batavia is a region with extended history about colonialism in Colonial Period. Built in Batavia had blended because of the arrival of various nations. Those was created an acculturation between colonial style with Indonesian traditional style called Indische Architecture. Koningsplein was a colonial elite settlement that inhabited by the resident and government high officials in Weltevreden. City Hall was the living place and Resident office, have a blended style between European and traditional that adapted from the development of 19th Century’s style. Therefore, it can be deduced that Jakarta City Hall had Indische Empire style adapted from European Roman Neoclassic style, Javanese and Batavia vernacular style from Indonesia."
