ABSTRACT
This undergraduate thesis is a qualitative research in the field of manual technology in the era of technomatization. In the era of technomatization, technology was evolving from manual to automatic and leave us the problem about human control and his role. The inability of modern technology to give us a full control is a consequences from automatic technology. In this study, the author use the Ellul rsquo s idea to distinguish about characteristic of technology, both are manual and automatic. Therefore, we are able to understand the deficiency of them. As an analysis, the author use the phenomenological method to dissect the form of both technology and it rsquo s relevance to human being. We are, as a human who was born in the modern situation tend to depend our life to the automatic form, so it rsquo s gave us an impact on human degradation skills to control technology fully. Therefore, manual technology now becomes important in the technological era, so human being will not lost his capability and skill to control it due to modern technology. "

"The study area has been subjected to intense fracturing or brittle deformation resulting in five main trends of lineaments and faults, i.e. (1) the Group A (the Perantanaan Fault Group) with a mean of direction N95°E/ N275°E, (2) the Group B (the Gorontalo Fault Group) with a mean of direction N125°E/ N305°E, (3) the Group C (the Paleleh Fault Group) with a mean of direction 165°E /N335°E, (4) the Group D (the Randangan Fault Group) with a mean of direction N25°E/ N205°E and (5) the Group E (the Kuandang Fault Group) having a mean of trend of N55°E/ N235°E. The complexity of structural pattern in the study area has been interpreted to be due to stress system evolution during Neogene - Pleistocene. The changing stress system orientation has reactivated the preexisting faults of the five groups with different sense of movements from the older deformation.
The nearly E-W trending lineaments of Group A or the Perantanaan Fault Group coincide with trend of the long axis of ridges and valleys or depression areas which are covered by volcanic rocks, lake deposits, and alluvium of Quaternary age. This group of structures was presumably developed as reverse or thrust faults during Late Neogene which later on to have beem reactivated as normal faults due to extensional tectonics of the North Sulawesi area during Plesitocene."

"Our understanding of the evolution of the dentition has been transformed by advances in the developmental biology, genetics, and functional morphology of teeth, as well as the methods available for studying tooth form and function. The hierarchical complexity of dental developmental genetics combined with dynamic effects of cells and tissues during development allow for substantial, rapid, and potentially non-linear evolutionary changes. Studies of selection on tooth function in the wild and evolutionary functional comparisons both suggest that tooth function and adaptation to diets are the most important factors guiding the evolution of teeth, yet selection against random changes that produce malocclusions (selectional drift) may be an equally important factor in groups with tribosphenic dentitions. These advances are critically reviewed here."
