"Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional merupakan salah satu lembaga penting di Indonesia karena memiliki tugas untuk menekan laju pertumbuhan penduduk dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup penduduk. Posisi jabatan sebagai Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional sempat mengalami kekosongan dan akhirnya dilantik seorang mantan Bupati Kulon Progo yaitu Hasto Wardoyo untuk menjadi Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana peran kepemimpinan Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional Hasto Wardoyo. Teori yang digunakan dalam analisis penelitian ini adalah peran kepemimpinan dari Henry Mintzberg yang memiliki tiga peranan utama kepemimpinan yaitu interpersonal role, informational role, dan decisional role. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan post-positivisme, dengan teknik pengumpulan data kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dan studi literatur. Wawancara mendalam dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan empat narasumber yang merupakan pegawai di Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan dari Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional telah melakukan tiga peran kepemimpinan yaitu interpersonal role, informational role, dan decisional role dengan baik dan seimbang. Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional dinilai memiliki nilai positif dan negatif, nilai positif yakni memiliki cara berkomunikasi yang sangat baik dengan para pegawai dan pihak luar dari Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional. Sedangkan nilai negatif yakni mudah percaya pada informasi tanpa membuktikan kebenarannya

The National Population and Family Planning Board is one of the important institutions in Indonesia because it has a duty to reduce the rate of population growth and improve the quality of life of the population. The position as Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board was vacant and finally a former Kulon Progo Regent, Hasto Wardoyo, was appointed Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board. This study aims to describe how the leadership role of the Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board Hasto Wardoyo is. The theory used in this research analysis is the leadership role of Henry Mintzberg who has three main leadership roles, namely interpersonal roles, informational roles, and decisional roles. This study uses a post-positivism approach, with qualitative data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and literature studies. In-depth interviews were carried out involving four informants who are employees at the National Population and Family Planning Board. The results of the study show that the leadership role of the Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board has carried out three leadership roles, namely the interpersonal role, informational role, and decisional role properly and in balance. The head of the National Population and Family Planning Board is considered to have positive and negative values. The positive value is having a very good way of communicating with employees and outsiders from the National Population and Family Planning Agency. While the negative value is easy to believe in information without proving its truth."

"Kepemimpinan yang baik merupakan faktor yang sangat mcnentukan untuk keberhasilan suatu organisasi, termasuk organisasi puskesmas. Sebagai pimpinan organisasi pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat, kepala puskesmas dituntut memiliki kepemimpinan yang baik dalam pelaksanaan rnanajemcn puskcsmas. Untuk mencapai kcberhasilan tujuan tim keqia, temmasuk pencapaian program- program puskesmas. Selama ini yang terjadi, pengangkatan seorang kepala kepemimpinan ataupun kemampuan manajerialnya, sehingga tidak diketahui dengan pasti apakah kepala puskesmas tersebut mempunyai kemampuan kepemimpinan yang memadai untuk memimpin organisasi puskesmas.
Design penelitian mcrupakan penelitian analitik deskriptii denan pendckatan kros-seksional, yang dilakukan di semua puskesmas scbanyak 24 puskesmas di kota Bogor. Data dikumpulkan dari hasil pengisian kuesioner oleh 98 stafpuskesmas di kota Bogor pada tahun 2009. Analisa data dilakukan secara kuantitatif menggunakan analisa univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat dengan uji chi-square dan uji regresi Iogistik ganda model prediksi.
Hasil panelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dominan yang ditemui pada kepala puskesmas di kota Bogor adalah gaya supporting, hal ini menggembirakan karena sangat sesuai untuk kondisi organisasi puskesmas. Dengan tingkat kefleksibilitasan gaya kepemimpinan Heksibel dan tingkat efektifitas gaya kepemimpinan sedang. Adapun kualitas kepemimpinan sebagian besar kepala puskesmas berada pada tingkat cukup. Dari penilaian responden tentang fungsi kepemimpinan didapatkan fungsi kepemimpinan kepala puskesmas lebih banyak yang menyatakan baik. Dari hasil analisa bivariat terdapat pengaruh yang bermakna antara gaya kepemimpinan dan fungsi kepemimpinan, juga terdapat pengaruh yang bermakna antara Heksibelitas gaya puskesrnas yang dinilai dan pclatihan terhadap fungsi kepemimpinan. Dari hasil analisa multivariat didapat hasii fleksibilitas gaya kepemimpinan merupakan variabel yang mempunyai pengaruh bermakna terhadap fungsi kepemimpinan, dimana variabel gaya kepemimpinan, efektifitas gaya kepemimpinan, umur, masa kenja, lama kexja staf dengan kepala puskesmas yang dinilai serta pelatihan merupakan faktor konfounding.
Disarankan untuk mcmpunyai data tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala puskesrnas dan rnembuat percncanaan yang tepat daiam pengangkatan seorang kepala puskesmas dengan melakukan peniiaian memenuhi kriteria syarat kepemimpinan. Serta mengembangkan metode-metode pelatihan kepemimpinan bagi kepala puskesmas, dengan mempertimbangkan metode pclatihan kepemimpinan Situasional.

A good leadership is a crucial factor to determine the success of an organization, that includes the organization of the Health Centers (HCS). In order to achieve the goals of the programs of the HCS, the heads are required to posses good abilities to manage t.he HCS. So far, the recruitment of the Heads of the I-ICs in Bogor has been done without considering their leadership abilities and their managerial abilities. As a result, it has been uncertain whether the heads of the HCS have sufficient skills to manage the organization.
This research was designed as an Analytical Descriptive Research with Cross Sectional Approach, that has been done in all 24 l-ICs in Bogor. The data have been collected in 2009 through answering questionnaires from 98 the staffs of the HCS in Bogor. The data have been quantitatively analyzed by Univariate, Bivariate and Multivariate analysis with Chi-square test and Multiple Logistic Regression Test Prediction Model.
The result of this research has shown that the Dominant Leadership Styles of the heads of the HCS in Bogor are the Supporting Style. This result is very much satisfying since this style is quite acceptable for the condition of the HCS with the Flexibility Level of Flexible Leadership Style and in the Etfectivity Level of Mediocre Leadership Style. Most of the chiefs of the HCS leadership qualities are in sufficient level. From the responders point of you about the functions of the leadership have been identified that the fimctions of the heads of the I-ICs are in good condition. From the Bivariate Analysis has been identified there is a meaningful impact between leadership style and leadership function and also there is a meaningful impact between the flexibility leadership style and the fimction of the leadership. In individual characteristic there is a meaningful impact among the age, the duration of working of the staffs with the heads of the HCS, who have been recruited through their abilities. From the Multivariate Analysis has been identified that flexibility leadership style is a variable that has a meaningful impact towards the leadership function where the variable of the leadership style, eifectivity leadership style, age, duration of working with the head of the HCs, who have been recmited through their abilities are the Confounding Factor.
It is advisable to have data considering about the leadership style ofthe heads of the HCS and to have a fixed plan in recruiting the heads of the HCS by recruiting by their abilities to meet the requirements of the leadership. lt is also advisable to develop the HCS leadership training methods by applying The Situational Leadership Training Method.

"ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat organizational citizenship behavior, kepercayaan anggota, perceived organizational support, leader member exchange, dan perilaku kepemimpinan pada dua tingkat kepemimpinan yang berbeda. Penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui apakah perceived organizational support memediasi hubungan antara perilaku kepemimpinan top management team dan kepercayaan anggota terhadap top management team dan apakah leader member exchange memediasi hubungan antara kepemimpinan supervisor dengan kepercayaan anggota terhadap supervisor. Serta apakah ada perbedaan antara pengaruh kepercayaan anggota terhadap top management team dan pengaruh kepercayaan anggota terhadap supervisor ke organizational citizenship behavior. Responden penelitian adalah 330 staff Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) di Universitas Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampir semua variabel laten yang ada termasuk kategori tinggi dan hanya variabel kepercayaan anggota terhadap top management team dan perceived organizational support yang termasuk kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukan ada perbedaan antara pengaruh kepercayaan anggota terhadap top management team dan pengaruh kepercayaan anggota terhadap supervisor ke organizational citizenship behavior.


ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the level of organizational citizenship behavior, member trust to top management team and supervisor, perceived organizational support, leder-member exchange, and dual level leadership behavior. This research also want to know whether perceived organizational support mediates the relationship between the top management leadership behavior and members trust to top management team and whether leader member exchange mediates the relationship between supervisor leadership behavior and member trust to supervisor. Furthermore, this reserach want to know whether there is an evidence that the effect of member trust to supervisor to organizational citizenship behaviour is difference with the effect of member trust to top management team to organizational citizenship behavior. The respondents were 330 staffs of Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) in University of Indonesia. The results showed that all variables are in high category except the top management team leadership behavior and perceived organizational support variables which in middle category. The result also showed that there is an evidence that there is a difference between the effect of member trust to supervisor to organizational citizenship behavior and the effect of member trust to top management team to organizational citizenship behavior.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara kepemimpinan
transformasional kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru. Pengukuran kinerja
mengunakan alat ukur yang diadaptasi dari dimensi Campbell (2012) yang
dikembangkan oleh Ratdityas (2013) dan pengukuran kepemimpinan
transformasional menggunakan alat ukur Multi Level Questionere Form 5x (MLQ
5x) yang dikembangkan oleh Bass dan Riggio (2005). Partisipan penelitian ini
adalah guru-guru yang mengajar di sekolah negeri di beberapa kota di Indonesia.
Total partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 172 orang guru. Hasil penelitian
ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan
transformasional kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru.

Penelitian ini adalah sebuah penelitian kualitatif yang disajikan secara deskriptif dengan fokus kajian (Rencana) Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional Tahap II Tahun 2010-2014. Hasilnya ialah bahwa kepemimpinan-pelayan (servant-leadership) dapat menjadi model ideal kepemimpinan nasional yang dapat menghantar bangsa Indonesia kepada tujuan nasionalnya.

This study focused on the National Leadership and Indonesia Development: "How can national leaders oversee all development programs, so that the just and prosperous society as national goal can be achieved". Until now the national goal has not been reached. Why? Because of the national leadership. Then urgently needed a national model of leadership that is able to deliver this nation to its destination. And the ideal model is Servant-Leadership. This study is a qualitative research presented descriptively by focus of study of Medium Term Development Phase II from 2010 to 2014, particularly the Year 2010/2011. The result is that the servant-leadership may be an ideal model of national leadership that can deliver the Indonesian nation to its national goals.

"Para peneliti telah mencoba mengidentifikasi 'jalur' praktik kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang berdampak paling signifikan pada peningkatan kualitas pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Di sisi lain, terdapat bukti bahwa pengaruh kepemimpinan sekolah terhadap pemelajaran siswa bersifat tidak langsung melalui pemelajaran profesional guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kepemimpinan dalam organisasi sekolah menggunakan pendekatan analisis jejaring sosial (SNA) dalam konteks budaya di satuan pendidikan kerjasama (SPK) Indonesia. Desain survei daring cross-sectional digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari SPK yang menjadi subyek multiple case study ini. SNA diterapkan untuk mengeksplorasi pola relasi kepemimpinan formal dan informal serta pengaruhnya terhadap pemelajaran profesional guru. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kepala sekolah masih memiliki pengaruh paling signifikan, terdapat individu-individu yang menjadi pemimpin informal yang berpengaruh terhadap pemelajaran profesional guru. Kehadiran dan identifikasi pemimpin informal ini adalah bukti penerapan kepemimpinan terdistribusi (distributed leadership), sebagai praktik kepemimpinan paling efektif berdasarkan konteks budaya dan organisasi sekolah subyek.

Researchers have attempted to identify the 'pathways' of school leadership practices that have the most significant impact on improving the quality of teaching and learning. On the other hand, there is evidence that the influence of school leadership on student learning is indirect through teachers' professional learning. This study aims to investigate leadership practice in school organizations using a social network analysis (SNA) approach within the cultural context of Indonesian international schools. A cross-sectional online survey design was used to collect data from the subject schools of this multiple case study. SNA was applied to explore the patterns of formal and informal leadership relations and their influence on teachers' professional learning. The research findings indicate that although school principals still have the most significant influence, there are individuals who serve as informal leaders that have an impact on teachers' professional learning. The presence and identification of these informal leaders provide evidence of the practice of distributed leadership, as the most effective leadership practice based on the cultural context and the subject school organization."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh transformational leadership terhadap
kinerja anggota organisasi yang dimediasi oleh variabel komitmen organisasi dan work
engagement. Pendekatan yang dipakai untuk melakukan penelitian ialah pendekatan
kuantitatif, pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dalam
bentuk skala likert. Responden dalam penelitian ini ialah pegawai PT Kereta Api
Indonesia Daerah Operasi 5 Purwokerto yang berjumlah 115 orang. Teknik analisis data
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan structural equation modeling
(SEM) melalui aplikasi program smartPLS. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa
transformational leadership memiliki pengaruh secara langsung maupun tidak langsung
terhadap kinerja anggota organisasi, variabel work engagement mampu memediasi
pengaruh secara tidak langsung antara transformational ledership dengan kinerja para
anggota organisasi. Sedangkan variabel komitmen organisasi tidak dapat memediasi
hubungan antara variabel kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja pegawai.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to analyze how the influence of transformational
leadership on organizational member performance is mediated by variable organizational
commitment and work engagement. The approach used to conduct research is a
quantitative approach, research data collection is carried out through questionnaires in the
form of a Likert scale. Respondents in this research were 115 employees of PT Kereta
Api Indonesia Daerah Operasi 5 in Purwokerto. The data analysis technique used in this
study is using structural equation modeling (SEM) through the application of smartPLS
programs. This study found that transformational leadership has a direct or indirect
influence on organizational member performance, the work engagement variable is able
to mediate the indirect influence between transformational ledership and the performance
of organizational members. While the organizational commitment variable cannot
mediate the relationship between transformational leadership variables on employee
performance.

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh Kepala Kantor Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kota Administrasi Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September - November tahun 2012. Adapun tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh kepala kantor dan selanjutnya melihat bagaimana pencapaian visi dan misi yang terdapat di Kantor Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kota Administrasi Jakarta Selatan. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan didukung dengan wawancara serta observasi langsung di lapangan. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh kepala kantor ialah gaya kepemimpinan demokrasi. Dampak dalam penerapan gaya demokrasi ini ialah sebagian besar para pegawai memahami secara jelas tupoksi yang diembannya sehingga pelaksanaan misi berjalan lancar dan hampir mengalami kemajuan yang berkesinambungan dalam mewujudkan visi yang terdapat di Kantor Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kota Administrasi Jakarta Selatan.

This thesis analyzes the leadership style which is implemented by the Head of the South Jakarta Administration Library and Archive Office. This research was conducted in September - November 2012. The aim of this research is to understand the leadership style of the head of office and to observe how it affects the achievement of the vision and mission of the South Jakarta Administration Library and Archive Office. The approach used in this research is quantitative, conducted through a survey method. Collection of the data is carried out through questionaires and supported by a interview and a direct observation on the field. Results of the research show that the leadership style of the head of the office is democratic leadership. The effects of the implementation of this democratic leadership style is that most of the employees understand clearly the tasks that they are responsible of. This results in a smooth operation of their mission, nearly resulting in a continuous progress in achieving the visions of the South Jakarta Administration Library and Archive Office."
