"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan knowledge sharing di perpustakaan Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) wilayah DKI Jakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan knowledge sharing yang dilakukan oleh staf perpustakaan dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan knowledge sharing dan kendalanya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga jenis, yaitu wawancara, studi dokumen dan observasi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan berbagi pengetahuan telah dilaksanakan oleh staf perpustakaan sejak lama dengan faktor-faktor yang mendasari seperti sifat pengetahuan, budaya kerja, kesempatan untuk berbagi, dan motivasi untuk berbagi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa staf perpustakaan di wilayah KKP DKI Jakarta lebih cenderung menerapkan knowledge sharing melalui sarana informal yang didominasi oleh faktor budaya kerja yang mendorong mereka untuk menerapkannya. Adanya right sizing organization memberikan kendala pada faktor-faktor yang mendasari penerapan knowledge sharing antar staf. Dukungan organisasi diharapkan mampu mengatasi kendala dalam pelaksanaan knowledge sharing oleh staf tidak hanya di wilayah DKI Jakarta tetapi secara keseluruhan di Perpustakaan KKP di Indonesia.
ABSTRACT
This study discusses the application of knowledge sharing in the library of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) in the DKI Jakarta area. The purpose of this study is to identify the application of knowledge sharing carried out by library staff and to determine the factors that influence the application of knowledge sharing and its constraints. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection methods used in this study consisted of three types, namely interviews, document studies and observation. The findings of this study indicate that knowledge sharing activities have been carried out by library staff for a long time with underlying factors such as the nature of knowledge, work culture, opportunities to share, and motivation to share. The results of this study indicate that library staff in the DKI Jakarta KKP area are more likely to apply knowledge sharing through informal means which are dominated by work culture factors that encourage them to apply it. The existence of a right sizing organization provides constraints on the factors that underlie the application of knowledge sharing between staff. Organizational support is expected to be able to overcome obstacles in the implementation of knowledge sharing by staff not only in the DKI Jakarta area but as a whole in the KKP Library in Indonesia."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai kualitas layanan Perpustakaan Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia kepada para pemustakanya dalam tiga dimensi Libqual yaitu Dampak Layanan, Pengawasan Informasi dan Perpustakaan Sebagai Tempat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara jelas kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh Perpustakaan Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia kepada para pemustakanya dilihat dari tiga dimensi Libqual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survai. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas layanan pada Perpustakaan Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia berada dalam katagori baik pada ketiga dimensi dalam Libqual. Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa perpustakaan harus terus meningkatkan kualitas layanannya terlebih pada bagian informasi koleksibaru dan jurnal elektronik.

This study discusses the service quality of Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia Library using the Libqual dimensions. Service quality measurement is based on three Libqual dimensions. They are Affect of Service, Information Control, Library as Place. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of service quality in Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia Library based on three dimensions of Libqual. This research uses quantitative approach with survey method. The results of this research reveal that service quality of Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia Library is good for three dimension of Libqual. The results of this research suggest that the library should improve its existing service quality to be even better. One thing that should be concerned to the information about new collection and online journal."

"Academic libraries have continually looked for technological solutions to low circulation statistics, under-usage by students and faculty, and what is perceived as a crisis in relevance, seeing themselves in competition with Google and Wikipedia. Academic libraries, however, are as relevant as they have been historically, as their primary functions within their university missions have not changed, but merely evolved. Going beyond the Gate Count argues that the problem is not relevance, but marketing and articulation. This book offers theoretical reasoning and practical advice to directors on how to better market the function of the library within and beyond the home institution. The aim of this text is to help directors, and ultimately, their librarians and staff get students and faculty back into the library, as a result of better articulation of the library’s importance. The first chapter explores the promotion of academic libraries and their function as educational systems. The next two chapters focus on the importance of the role social media and virtual presence in the academic library, and engaging and encouraging students to use the library through a variety of methods, such as visually oriented special collections. Remaining chapters discuss collaboration and collegiality, formalized reporting and marketing."

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat keterlibatan
(Engagement Rate) perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dan menganalisis strategi
perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam menerapkan Library 2.0 serta untuk
mengidentifikasi hambatan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam
menerapkan Library 2.0. Pendekatan dalam tesis ini menggunakan
pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus komparatif. Hasil
perhitungan tingkat keterlibatan didapatkan Perpustakaan Universitas
Indonesia menempati urutan pertama, Perpustakaan Universitas Gadjah
Mada pada urutan kedua serta Perpustakaan Universitas Airlangga pada
urutan ketiga. Penelitian ini memilih Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia
dan Perpustakaan Universitas Airlangga menjadi lokasi penelitian, dimana
menghasilkan penelitian bahwa kedua perpustakaan telah memiliki strategi
dalam penerapan Library 2.0 yang diurai menurut komponen pembentuk
Library 2.0 yaitu partisipasi pengguna, web 2.0, perpustakaan dan layanan,
evaluasi dan kerjasama. Temuan yang lain kedua perpustakaan memiliki
strategi yang sama, di sisi lain ada juga strategi yang berbeda. Ketika salah
satu komponen lemah maka komponen lain lebih diperkuat.

analyze strategies in implementing Library 2.0 as well as to identify barriers
in applying Library 2.0. The approach in this research uses a qualitative with a
comparative case study method. The Engagement Rate results University of
Indonesia Library ranks first, Gadjah Mada University Library in the second
and Airlangga University Library on the third. This research were conducted
in University of Indonesia Library and the Airlangga University Library,
which resulted that both libraries have had strategies in the implementing of
Library 2.0 which is parsed by forming components Library 2.0 are user
participation, Web 2.0, library and services, evaluation and cooperation.
Another finding is that both libraries have the same strategy, on the other hand
there are also different strategies. When one component is weak then the other
