"The fusion of algebra, analysis and geometry, and their application to real world problems, have been dominant themes underlying mathematics for over a century. Geometric algebras, introduced and classified by Clifford in the late 19th century, have played a prominent role in this effort, as seen in the mathematical work of Cartan, Brauer, Weyl, Chevelley, Atiyah, and Bott, and in applications to physics in the work of Pauli, Dirac and others. One of the most important applications of geometric algebras to geometry is to the representation of groups of Euclidean and Minkowski rotations. This aspect and its direct relation to robotics and vision will be discussed in several chapters of this multi-authored textbook, which resulted from the ASI meeting. Moreover, group theory, beginning with the work of Burnside, Frobenius and Schur, has been influenced by even more general problems. As a result, general group actions have provided the setting for powerful methods within group theory and for the use of groups in applications to physics, chemistry, molecular biology, and signal processing. These aspects, too, will be covered in detail. With the rapidly growing importance of, and ever expanding conceptual and computational demands on signal and image processing in remote sensing, computer vision, medical image processing, and biological signal processing, and on neural and quantum computing, geometric algebras, and computational group harmonic analysis, the topics of the book have emerged as key tools. The list of authors includes many of the world's leading experts in the development of new algebraic modeling and signal representation methodologies, novel Fourier-based and geometric transforms, and computational algorithms required for realizing the potential of these new application fields."

"Dalam pelaksanaan proyek terdapat kemungkinan timbulnya sejumlah kejadian berbahaya yang jika tidak dilakukan pengelolaan yang baik akan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh strategi pengelolaan risiko kejadian berbahaya pada pelaksanaan proyek untuk meningkatkan kinerja proyek yang meliputi kinerja keselamatan kerja, biaya, dan waktu dengan objek penelitian adalah proyek pembangunan pembangkit listrik tenaga uap dan gas di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui studi literatur, survei kuesioner, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi penyebab dan dampak bahaya pada proyek yang berpengaruh pada kinerja keselamatan kerja, biaya, dan waktu berbasis manajemen risiko. Hasil penelitian berupa kejadian berbahaya yang paling berisiko terhadap kinerja keselamatan kerja, biaya, dan waktu yang menunjukan bahwa kejadian berbahaya yang paling berdampak terhadap kinerja keselamatan kerja adalah jatuh dari ketinggian sebesar 27,41% dan kejadian berbahaya yang paling berdampak pada kinerja biaya sebesar 24,32% dan kinerja waktu sebesar 22,65% adalah ledakan boiler. Produk akhir dari penelitian ini adalah strategi untuk pengelolaan penyebab kejadian berbahaya paling berisiko untuk meningkatkan kinerja keselamatan kerja, biaya dan waktu.

Project Construction unavoidably had emergence of some hazardous events where it would affect project performance if it was not managed well and carefully. This research was aimed to obtain management strategy of hazardous events at some projects, covering Combined Cycle Power Plant in Indonesia, so that how big hazardous-event effect on project performance were able to be determined as cost, time, and work-safety performances. Collecting study of literature, questionnaire, and interview were implemented to support this research. Analysis of the data was carried out by identifying hazardous causes and impacts in project construction taking effect on performance of work safety, cost, and time according to risk management. The result showed that fall from high construction is main effect to work safety performance (27,1%) and boiler explotion is main effect to cost (24,32%) and time performances (22,65%). The final product of this research are strategy to manage of the most risk causes hazardous event to improve the safety, cost and time performances.

"ABSTRAK
Depresi merupakan suatu gangguan kejiwaan pada alam perasaan, yang ditandai dengan kesedihan, hilangnya minat atau kebahagiaan, perasaan bersalah, gangguan tidur dan nafsu makan, perasaan lelah dan konsentrasi yang kurang baik. Tiga terapi utama untuk depresi yaitu psikoterapi, farmakoterapi dan electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitor (SSRI) merupakan terapi antidepresan yang paling sering dipakai. Efektifitas farmakologis antidepresan hanya mencapai 60%-70%. Sebagian pasien depresi tidak merespons penuh, mengalami relaps, atau menderita efek samping yang tidak diharapkan sehingga memerlukan pengembangan terapi pilihan lain, seperti laserpunktur.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi kombinasi laserpunktur dengan antidepresan dan psikoterapi dibandingkan dengan terapi kombinasi laserpunktur sham dengan antidepresan dan psikoterapi terhadap perubahan skor Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression 17 (HAM-D 17) dan kadar serotonin penderita depresi. Uji klinis acak tersamar tunggal pada 33 penderita depresi dialokasikan kedalam kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol. Terdapat penurunan skor HAM-D 17 yang bermakna (p<0.001) setelah 8 kali terapi laserpunktur dan peningkatan kadar serotonin yang bermakna (p=0,004) setelah terapi.
Penelitian ini menunjukkan terapi kombinasi laserpunktur dengan antidepresan dan psikoterapi efektif mengurangi gejala depresi dan meningkatkan kadar serotonin lebik baik dibandingkan terapi kombinasi laserpunktur sham dengan antidepresan dan psikoterapi saja.

ABSTRACT
Depression is a psychiatric disorder in mood, which is characterized by sadness, loss of interest or happiness, feeling guilty or worthless, sleep or appetite disorders, feeling tired and lack of concentration. There are three main treatment for depression are psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). The effectiveness of pharmacological antidepressant only reach 60% to 70%. The majority of depressed patients do not respond fully, relapse, or suffer side effects are not expected to require the development of therapies other options, one of which laserpuncture.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of combination therapy with antidepressants and psychotherapy laserpuncture compared with sham laserpuncture combination therapy with antidepressants and psychotherapy to change in Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression 17 (HAM-D 17) and the serotonin levels of people with depression. Single-blind randomized clinical trial was conducted on 33 patients with depression were allocated into intervention and control groups.
The results showed there is a decrease in HAM-D 17 were significantly (p <0.001). There is a significant increase serotonin levels (p = 0.004). Conclusion of the study is laserpuncture combination therapy with antidepressants and psychotherapy are effective in reducing symptoms of depression and elevating cortisol level compared to sham laserpuncture combination therapy with antidepressants and psychotherapy.

"Meningkatnya permukaan kedap air di DKI Jakarta, salah satunya karena alih guna lahan untuk permukiman yang saat ini mencapai 50% serta fakta penurunan muka tanah akibat praktik abstraksi air tanah karena kemampuan suplai air bersih dari pemerintah baru mencapai 65%, mendorong penerapan konsep pemanfaatan kembali limpasan sebagai cara alternatif untuk membantu suplai kebutuhan air di permukiman yang saat ini semakin padat. Studi ini bertujuan untuk fokus mengkaji teknologi pengolahan awal untuk pemanfaatan kembali limpasan yang berpotensi untuk penerapan di permukiman padat DKI Jakarta. Melalui identifikasi terhadap karakteristik tapak sampel permukiman padat dari studi terdahulu yaitu di Kampung Luar Batang, Penjaringan, Jakarta Utara, ditemukan bahwa untuk kondisi saat ini teknologi pengolahan awal untuk pemanfaatan kembali limpasan tidak ada yang berpotensi untuk diterapkan. Namun, dengan dengan peluang pembangunan kembali di masa depan sesuai Rencana Detail Tata Ruang DKI Jakarta, teknologi pengolahan awal seperti buffer strip, permeable pavement, sand filter, dan biofilter berpotensi diterapkan sebagai elemen ruang terbuka hijau yang berfokus melakukan pengolahan awal limpasan untuk pemanfaatan yang dapat dilakukan di ruang terbuka seperti irigasi ruang terbuka hijau ataupun kebutuhan air bukan untuk minum lainnya yang diperlukan bagi sarana publik yang direncanakan dibangun di ruang terbuka hijau tersebut.

The increasing amount of impermeability in DKI Jakarta is partly due to land conversion for settlement purposes, which is currently reaching 50%. Additionally, the fact that land subsidence is due to groundwater abstraction practices, caused by the government's clean water supply, only reaches 65%, which has prompted the implementation of the concept of re-utilizing runoff as an alternative method to support water supply in dense settlement areas. This study aims to focus on identify preliminary treatment technologies for re-utilizing runoff that have the potential for implementation in dense settlement areas in DKI Jakarta. Through the identification of site characteristics in a previous study conducted in Kampung Luar Batang, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. It was found that currently there are no potential preliminary treatment technologies for re-utilizing runoff that can be applied. However, according to the Detailed Spatial Plan of DKI Jakarta, preliminary treatment technologies such as buffer strips, permeable pavements, sand filters, and biofilters have the potential to be implemented as green open space elements in the future. Those technologies focus on the preliminary treatment of runoff for re-utilization purposes such as irrigation or other non-potable water needs for public facilities in those green open spaces."

"Hydrology plays important role in urban development thus hydrologic event that occurs has to be accurately estimated in order to satisfy the needs of the area in infrastructure. The advance technology has helped the engineers to model the event which should lead into better decisionmaking and visualisation in undertaking most hydrological cases. This thesis reviews four urban hydrological modelling softwares and discusses the essential components of the modelling that includes catchment model, loss model, storage discharge relations, and its input parameters. The aim of the review is to provide basic understanding of the hydrology processes by using modeling software in accordance to the basic theory and standard design. The review does not seek to be a comprehensive technical of urban hydrology management and modelling."
