"ABSTRACTPerubahan struktur populasi Indonesia merupakan salah satu fenomena baru yang menarik untuk dibahas, terutama perubahan komposisi populasi yang berubah dari jumlah anak muda yang lebih banyak pada periode hingga 2045 dan bertambahnya usia tua. Peningkatan usia tua menyebabkan masalah baru, yaitu jumlah beban yang ditanggung oleh usia produktif usia anak-anak dan usia tua, sehingga menciptakan trade off untuk merawat anak-anak atau orang tua mereka. Penelitian ini mencoba melihat fenomena merawat orang tua dengan menggunakan pendekatan hidup bersama dan melihat fenomena tersebut dalam hal Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari IFLS 5, variabel yang digunakan adalah variabel religiusitas diri, yaitu doa, bacaan, kontribusi, dan persepsi kepatuhan diri. Selain itu, variabel lain juga digunakan yang dibagi menjadi karakteristik anak seperti status pekerjaan, status perkawinan, jumlah anak, dan pendapatan dari Muslim dewasa. Kemudian karakteristik orang tua yang terdiri dari pekerjaan dan status kesehatan mereka, ditambah lokasi tempat mereka tinggal bersama. Penelitian ini menggunakan model logistik untuk melihat probabilitas Muslim dewasa hidup dengan orang tua. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah variabel religiusitas menunjukkan signifikansi negatif terhadap kemungkinan tinggal bersama orang tua lanjut usia. Ini menyiratkan bahwa religiositas belum mendorong Muslim dewasa untuk hidup bersama orang tua karena ada banyak cara lain untuk melayani orang tua mereka.

.ABSTRACTChanges in Indonesia's population structure is one interesting new phenomenon to be discussed, especially changes in the composition of the population that changes from the number of young people who are more in the period until 2045 and increasing old age. The increase in old age causes a new problem, namely the amount of burden borne by the productive age of the age of children and old age, thus creating a trade off to take care of their children or parents. This study tries to look at the phenomenon of taking care of parents by using the approach of living together and looking at the phenomenon in terms of Islam. This study uses data from IFLS 5, the variable used is the variable of self religiosity, namely prayer, recitation, contribution, and perception of self-obedience. In addition, other variables are also used that are divided into child characteristics such as employment status, marital status, number of children, and income from adult Muslims. Then the characteristics of parents consisting of their work and health status, plus the location where they live together. This study uses a logistic model to see the probability of adult Muslims living with parents. The results obtained are the variable religiosity shows a negative significance towards the possibility of their stay with elderly parents. This implies that religiosity does not yet encourage adult Muslims to live with parents because there are many other ways to serve their parents."
