"The article examines the current political development of the integration process of the EU. The author takes a closer look at the electoral voles of three very important EU members of the EU. The result of the EU referendum in three EU member countries shows a different opinion and ideology of the European citizen. Spain's weak and meek "yes" to the EU constitution obtained through a massive campaign by the political establishment and jointly by government and opposition alike. The result "no " in the Netherlands has shown signs nationalistic backlash towards EU constitution. A part from Holland social decline, the "no "from the left was this time based on the ELI lack of appeal. And the French "no" with high electoral participation was based on the excesses of the free market system within the EU constitution., necessarily implying a lessening of the French social welfare system, increased unemployment, and lowering of living standards. The author concludes with the questions: what the EU will be to the European Union? and where the process of the EU integration or disintegration will lead"

"Skripsi ini membahas faktor-faktor penyebab kerusakan naskah kertas kuno Eropa yang berada di Perpustakaan UI (The Crystal of Knowledge). Penelitian melihat faktor kerusakan dari internal dan eksternal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yang menjadikan naskah kuno kertas Eropa sebagai bahan survei. Naskah yang telah diteliti nantinya akan dijabarkan dan dilakukan interpretasi lebih dalam terhadap hasil akhir. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel sebanyak lima puluh (50) naskah dari keseluruhan yaitu seratus lima puluh lima (155) naskah. Naskah tidak bisa diteliti secara keseluruhan dikarenakan kondisi naskah yang tidak memungkinkan untuk terus dibuka dan diteliti. Naskah diteliti menggunakan parameter perhitungan 0 (baik), 1 (sedang), dan 2 (buruk). Faktor internal naskah meliputi kondisi keasaman, kekuatan, mikroorganisme yang terkandung dalam kertas, serta serangga, dan kondisi fisik kertas. Untuk kondisi eksternal naskah meliputi sampul dan jilidan. Hasil yang diperoleh, kondisi naskah masuk pada katagori 1 pada internal naskah, yaitu sedang dengan harus diadakannya pemeliharaan naskah lebih lanjut. Untuk hasil kondisi eksternal naskah, diperoleh hasil 2 yaitu kondisi naskah buruk sehingga memerlukan perbaikan segera. Hasil selanjutnya disimpulkan kerusakan naskah sebagian besar disebabkan faktor fisik yang mempengaruhi faktor biotis kertas naskah, sedangkan faktor kesalahan manusia terjadi akibat kelalaian serta kurang pengetahuan pengguna. Saran penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki sarana dan prasarana ruang naskah, khususnya untuk penyediaan AC dan Dehumidifier. Dua alat tersebut sangat membantu pada proses pemeliharaan naskah, ketika terjadi anomali lingkungan, seperti perubahan suhu dan cuaca ekstrim, serta mengatur kelembaban ruangan.

This thesis describe the factors that causing damage to European paper manuscript in The UI library. The research looked at the external and internal damage factors. This research uses a quantitative research method with descriptive approach, which makes the European paper manuscript as a survey. The manuscript examined will be elaborated and carried out a deeper interpretation of the end result. This study sampled as much as fifty (50), the overall text of one hundred and fifty-five (155) script. The script could not be examined in its entirety due to conditions which do not allow scripts to continue to opened and examined.

The manuscript was examined by using the parameters of calculation of 0 (good), 1 (medium), and 2 (bad). Internal factors include the conditions of acidity of the script, the strength, the microorganisms contained in the paper, as well as insects, and the physical condition of the paper. The external conditions for the paper included cover and binding.

The results shows that condition of the script entered on first categories within internal script. For second catagories within external script, the condition of the paper in bad condition that needed improvement very soon. The result further damaged the paper summed that the damaged paper largely happened due to physical factors that affecting the biotia in paper, while the factor of human error occurred due to negligence and lack of knowledge of the user.

Suggestions of the research is to improve facilities and infrastructure space script, in particular for the provision of Air Conditioning and Dehumidifier. Two such tools are very helpful in the process of maintaining script, when an environmental anomalies, such as extreme weather and temperature changes, as well as regulating the humidity of the room."
