"Film Ne Zha (2019) adalah film animasi yang menceritakan tentang perjalanan hidup Ne Zha sebagai jelmaan Pil Iblis yang sengaja ditukar dalam proses kelahirannya. Pada awal kehidupannya, Ne Zha menerima penolakan dari masyarakat desa. Namun, orang tuanya tetap menyayangi dan mendidik Ne Zha dengan penuh cinta kasih, sehingga Ne Zha mampu mengubah prasangka buruk yang melekat pada dirinya dengan cara memberikan cinta kasih. Dalam film Ne Zha (2019) ini, prinsip cinta kasih (Ren Ai 仁爱) yang terdapat dalam ajaran Konfusianisme dipilih untuk diteliti. Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana prinsip cinta kasih (Ren Ai 仁爱) yang terdapat dalam karakter Ne Zha, sementara Ne Zha adalah penjelmaan dari Pil Iblis. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana prinsip cinta kasih (Ren Ai 仁爱) yang ada pada diri Ne Zha dapat terlihat walaupun dengan adanya prasangka buruk. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan intrinsik yang berfokus pada unsur penokohan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ne Zha sebagai jelmaan dari Pil Iblis mempunyai sisi baik dalam dirinya. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan Ne Zha memenuhi prinsip cinta kasih (Ren Ai 仁爱), yaitu cinta kasih kepada diri sendiri, keluarga, orang lain, dan alam. Prinsip cinta kasih (Ren Ai 仁爱) yang ada pada Ne Zha akhirnya mampu mengubah karakter dan prasangka terhadap Ne Zha.

This research aims to reveal how the principle of benevolent love (Ren Ai 仁爱) that is in Ne Zha can be seen even though there is prejudice. Furthermore, this research also uses an intrinsic approach that focuses on the elements of characterization. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The results showed that Ne Zha as the incarnation of the Demon Pill had a good side in him. This is proven by Ne Zha fulfilling the principle of benevolent love (Ren Ai 仁爱), which is love themselves, family, others, and nature. The principle of benevolent love (Ren Ai 仁爱) that exists in Ne Zha is finally able to change the character and prejudice against Ne Zha."
