"Universitas Indonesia merupakan salah satu universitas terbaik di Indonesia dan mempunyai peminat yang terus naik tiap tahunnya sehingga pembangunan di kawasan UI demi meningkatnya fasilitas pendidikan akan terjadi. Dengan adanya pekerjaan konstruksi mengakibatkan tingginya risiko terhadap berbagai kecelakaan kerja di kawasan Universitas. Terlepas dari kompleksitas dan risikonya, sedikit sekali pembahasan mengenai kebutuhan kesehatan kerja dalam kawasan Universitas.. Penerapan SMK3 di Universitas Indonesia sendiri masih tergolong belum maksimal. Padahal adanya kegiatan konstruksi yang berlangsung di kawasan Universitas memiliki risiko yang tinggi terhadap orang – orang yang beraktivitas di sekitarnya. Masalah keselamatan dianggap sebagai masalah utama dalam industri konstruksi. Meskipun kemajuan teknologi sangat cepat, terungkap bahwa tingkat kematian di industri konstruksi masih sangat tinggi. Oleh karena itu, pengurangan dan mitigasi bahaya harus dimulai dari tahap awal yaitu pada tahap perencanaan. Pembuatan rencana keselamatan kerja (safety plan) pada tahap inisiasi dapat mengurangi dan mencegah potensi bahaya yang akan terjadi. BIM (Buliding Information Modelling) sebagai teknologi yang baru dan canggih pelaksanannya sangat membantu perkembangan keamanan pada pekerjaan konstruksi. Selain BIM, digunakan juga sistem informasi berbasis WEB untuk memudahkan pengambilan data safety plan, dimana dengan adanya WEB dapat mengakses data dengan besar dan cepat. Para pakar setuju dengan adanya pengembangan sistem ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap sistem safety plan pada pekerjaan proyek sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja safety.

The University of Indonesia is one of the best universities in Indonesia and has increasing interest every year so that development in the UI area for the sake of increasing educational facilities will occur. The existence of construction work results in a high risk of various work accidents in the University area. The University environment is often considered safe so that there is very little implementation of SMK3 in the University area. The implementation of SMK3 at the University of Indonesia itself is still not optimal. In fact, construction activities that take place in the University area pose a high risk to people who are active in the area. Safety issues are considered a major problem in the construction industry. Despite the rapid advancement of technology, it is revealed that the death rate in the construction industry is still very high. Therefore, the reduction and mitigation of hazards must start from the initial stage, namely the planning stage. The use of safety plan at the initiation stage can reduce and prevent potential hazards that will occur. BIM (Buliding Information Modeling) as a new and sophisticated technology, is very helpful for the development of security in construction work. In addition to BIM, a WEB-based information system is also used to facilitate data retrieval of safety plans, where WEB can access large and fast data. The purpose of this study is to develop a safety plan using WEB-based BIM for mechanical and electrical work activities in building school construction projects. Expert Agree with development of this system have a positive impact on the safety plan in the works so it can improve performance safety."
