"In a world awash in data, information systems help provide structure and access to information. Since libraries build, manage, and maintain information systems, librarians and LIS students are often propelled onto the front lines of interactions between library users and technology. But what do librarians need to know to best meet their patron's needs? What exactly are information systems and how do they work?"

ABSTRAK

Nama : Defi Amalia Setia Ningrum
Program Studi : Magister Epidemiologi
Judul : Hubungan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif Terhadap Kejadian Kegemukan
Pada Anak (Studi Kohor Retrospektif: Indonesia Family Life Survey
4-5)
Pembimbing : Dr. dr. Krinawati Bantas, M.Kes
level posyandu.
Kata kunci:
ASI eksklusif, kegemukan anak

ABSTRACT

Name : Defi Amalia Setia Ningrum
Study Program : Master of Epidemiology
Title : The Association Between Exclusive Breastfeeding and Risk of
Childhood Overweight/Obesity (Retrospective Cohort
Study:Indonesia Family Life Survey 4 – 5)
Counsellor : Dr. dr. Krisnawati Bantas, M.Kes
The increasing prevalence of childhood obesity and the low proportion of exclusive
breastfeeding in Indonesia are the background of this study. This study aims to determine
the incidence of obesity and the relationship of exclusive breastfeeding and the risk of
overweight/obesity in children. The design of this study was used a retrospective cohort
using Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) 4-5. The total sample in this study was 981
respondents. The results of the cumulative incidence of overweight/obesity in children
during the 7 years of observation was 13.3%, with the annual cumulative incidence of
obesity in children was 1.9%. The final model showed that the relative risk of children
who were not exclusively breastfed to be obese was 1.11 (95% CI 0.625 - 1.967)
compared to children who were given exclusive breastfeeding after being controlled by
socio-economic status and residential area variables. Health school programs in the
context of early detection of obesity in school children need to be more widely
disseminated. Health promotion about the benefit of exclusive breastfeeding is still
needed and it is important to monitor and control the nutritional status of breastfeeding
mothers at the posyandu level.
Key words:
breastfeeding, child overweight/obesity

"Seeing a total solar eclipse is often described as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, for many who have experienced totality, once-in-a-lifetime is simply not enough. They want more, and are willing to go to great lengths often at great expense to repeat the experience. What is it like to experience totality? What is it about the experience that motivates these eclipse chasers? Is there an eclipse chaser personality? Can eclipse chasing actually be described as an addiction? This book describes the people who dedicate their lives to chasing their dream."
