The decline in subjective well-being among working mothers has become an increasing concern, in line with the rising number of women participating in the workforce. This study aims to examine the role of self-compassion and perceived social support as predictors of subjective well-being among working mothers. A total of 118 working mothers, aged between 23 and 56 years, participated in this study. The results of a hierarchical multiple regression analysis indicated that self-compassion and perceived social support simultaneously predicted subjective well-being in working mothers. Furthermore, self-compassion (β = 0.563, p < 0.01) emerged as a stronger predictor of subjective well-being compared to perceived social support (β = 0.520, p < 0.01).
