Skripsi ini membahas temporal framing sebagai strategi dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengekspos identitas place melalui urutan stimulus yang direspon indera saat subjek bergerak dan beraktivitas dalam ruang. Rangkaian stimulus di- frame untuk membentuk narasi spasial yang terfragmentasi namun saling terhubung. Kerangka analisis pada studi kasus ini menelusuri pengalaman ruang sebagai susunan layer yang tersembunyi dan terekspos, visibilitasnya diatur oleh temporal framing sebagai mekanisme filtrasi dalam membaca place. Temporal framing yang terjadi pada kasus restoran open kitchen menjadi strategi menyusun multi identitas agar area-area dalam dapur dapat dibaca secara runut. Dengan mengaitkan Chain of Sensation, Spatial performativity, dan layering. Analisis studi kasus menunjukkan bagaimana pengalaman multisensoris disusun secara spasial dan temporal untuk menghasilkan pengalaman ruang dengan identitas tertentu. Manipulasi persepsi ruang melalui pengaturan visibilitas, dan intensitas stimulus menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan pengalaman interior pada area open kitchen. Hasil analisis menegaskan bahwa pembacaan identitas ruang merupakan hasil dari respon tubuh terhadap rangkaian stimulus yang di -framing secara temporal, sehingga persepsi dan identitas place terbentuk melalui bekerjanya temporal framing yang memunculkan dinamika kehadiran identitas layer antara yang tersembunyi dan terekspos.

This study discusses temporal framing as a strategy for identifying and exposing the identity of a place through a sequence of stimuli perceived by the senses as the subject moves and engages within space. These stimuli are framed to form a spatial narrative that is fragmented yet interconnected. The analytical framework of this case study traces spatial experience as a composition of layered elements, both hidden and exposed, with their regulated visibility through temporal framing as a filtering mechanism in perceiving ‘place’. In the context of the open kitchen restaurant, temporal framing becomes a strategy to arrange multi identity so that the areas within the kitchen can be read sequentially. Through the integration of the Chain of Sensation, Spatial Performativity, and Layering. The case study analysis demonstrates how multisensory experiences are spatially and temporally arranged to produce a space with more specific identity. Manipulation of spatial perception through the control of visibility and the intensity of stimuli becomes essential in creating interior experience of the open kitchen. The analysis results reveal that the perception of spatial identity is the result of the body’s response to a sequence or a series of stimuli that are temporally framed, so that perception and place identity are formed through the operation of temporal framing, which brings about the dynamic presence of identity layers between the hidden and the exposed.
