Keluaran APTS bervariasi. Kejadian koroner pada APTS dilaporkan cukup tinggi, termasuk yang dilaporkan di RSJHK 5 tahun yang lalu. Saat ini telah dikembangkan suatu metode baru pemeriksaan Troponin T, yaitu protein kontraktil yang spesifik untuk miokard dan sangat sensitif, yang beredar dalam darah pada keadaan disintegrasi semikroinfark. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diatas, dilakukan penelitian prospektif mengenai kadar Troponin T pada APTS untuk mengetahui hubungannya dengan perjalanan penyakit APTS. Hipotesis penelitian adalah Troponin T pada kadar tertentu mempunyai makna pada kejadian koroner. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan berguna dalam meningkatkan upaya tatalaksana kasus APTS dengan resiko kejadian koroner.
