Jumlah kasus terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19 mencapai angka 2.832.755 kasus dengan pertambahan sebanyak 51.952 kasus per 17 Juli 2021. Dengan 4,9% merupakan ibu hamil yang terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19. Pada masa pandemik Covid-19 pada ibu hamil terdapat masalah maternal diantaranya adalah kejadian Intrauterine Fetal Death sebanyak 17% kasus. Intrauterine Fetal Death merupakan kematian janin dalam Rahim pada usia janin lebih dari 20 minggu. Kematian janin ini dapat mempengaruhi kondisi psikologis dari seorang ibu untuk menghadapi fase berduka dan kehilangan anak yang masih dalam kandungannya. Pada studi ini menggunakan kasus tunggal dari seorang ibu berusia 27 tahun yang terkonfirmasi positif Covid19 dengan G2P1A0 dengan usia kandungan 31 minggu 5 hari yang datang kerumah sakit dengan berbagai keluhan. Studi ini merupakan case study yang menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan mengisi kuesioner. Kesimpulan akhir pada Case Study ini merupakan gambaran proses psikologis kehilangan oleh ibu post partum dengan covid-19 yang mengalami Intrauterine Fetal Death.

The number of positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 reached 2,832,755 cases with an increase of 51,952 cases as of July 17, 2021. With 4.9% of pregnant women who were confirmed positive for Covid-19. During the Covid-19 pandemic, pregnant women had maternal problems, including the incidence of Intrauterine Fetal Death in 17% of cases. Intrauterine Fetal Death is the death of the fetus in the womb at the age of the fetus more than 20 weeks. This fetal death can affect the psychological condition of a mother to face the grieving phase and the loss of a child still in her womb. This study uses a single case of a 27-year-old mother who was confirmed positive for Covid19 with G2P1A0 with a gestational age of 31 weeks 5 days who came to the hospital with various complaints. This study is a case study using observation, interviews, and filling out questionnaires. The final conclusion in this case study is a description of the psychological process of loss by postpartum mothers with covid-19 who experienced Intrauterine Fetal Death.
