Apoteker adalah profesi yang memiliki peranan penting dalam bidang kerja kefarmasian. Untuk membentuk seorang apoteker yang profesional dalam melakukan pekerjaannya dibidang kefarmasian, diperlukan pengalaman dan ilmu yang mengharuskan seorang calon apoteker mengambil tindakan langsung dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan kefarmasian pada tempat profesi kefarmasian, diantaranya pada apotek dan industri farmasi, tempat calon apoteker melakukan praktik kerja profesi apoteker. Praktik kerja profesi apoteker perlu dilakukan demi mendapatkan pengalaman dan ilmu untuk calon apoteker dalam mendapat pemahanan bagaimana tugas dan tanggung jawab apoteker pada dunia kerja. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilakukan di PT. Harsen Laboratories pada periode Februari-Maret 2021 dan Apotek Barkah pada periode Mei 2021. Calon apoteker diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengalaman dan ilmu yang bermanfaat selama melakukan praktik kerja profesi apoteker.
