COVID-19 adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus corona. Pemantauan jarak jauh merupakan penggunaan teknologi informasi untuk memantau status kesehatan pasien yang posisinya jauh dari tenaga kesehatan. Penggunaan telemedicine untuk pemantauan pasien dapat dilakukan untuk merawat pasien yang isolasi mandiri. Diharapkan dengan melakukan hal ini paparan COVID-19 terhadap tenaga kesehatan dapat diminimalisir dan kapasitas pelayanan kesehatan tetap terjaga. Penelitian tentang hal ini masih belum banyak di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai penerapan telemedicine untuk pemantauan jarak jauh pasien COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review. Pencarian studi dilakukan pada Pubmed dan ScienceDirect dengan kata kunci “telemedicine” AND “monitoring” AND “COVID-19”. Terdapat 18 studi yang terinklusi dalam peneltian. Jenis telemedicine yang digunakan adalah aplikasi seluler, website, SMS, dan telepon. Komponen yang dibutuhkan terdiri dari hardware, software, dan sumber daya manusia. Komponen hardware terdiri dari smartphone, komputer, oksimeter, termometer, dan alat pengukur tekanan darah. Komponen software terdiri dari formulir initial assessment, formulir pemantauan, aplikasi pemantauan, cloud, dan rekam medis elektronik. Komponen sumber daya manusia terdiri dari administrator, psikolog, tenaga kefarmasian, dokter, perawat, dan mahasiswa kesehatan. Program ini memberikan dampak bagi fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan dan pasien. Jika ingin melakukan pemantauan jarak jauh maka hal-hal tersebut perlu diperhatikan.

COVID-19 is a communicable disease caused by coronavirus. Remote patient monitoring is the use of information technology to monitor the health status of patient from a distance. Telemedicine can be used for remotely monitor patients who self-isolate. It is expected that by doing this, the exposure of healthcare workers to COVID-19 will be reduced and healthcare capacity can be ensured. In Indonesia, there are still few studies on this. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to obtain information about the implementation of telemedicine for remotely monitor COVID-19 patients. This study used the literature review methos. The study search was conducted using Pubmed and ScienceDirect with the keywords “telemedicine” AND “monitoring” AND “COVID-19”. As the result, 18 studies were included. Types of telemedicine that used are mobile apps, websites, SMS/texting, and phone calls. The components required are hardware, software, and human resources. Hardware included smartphone, computer, oximeter, thermometer, and blood pressure measuring device. Software included intial assessment form, monitoring form, monitoring application, cloud, and electronic health record. Human resources included administrator, psychologist, pharmacist, physician, nurse, and medical student. This program impacted the medical institutions and patients. These element should be taken into account if we are to implement this.
