ABSTRAKPengobatan TB merupakan pengobatan jangka panjang dan dapat menimbulkan berbagai efek samping. Pengendalian klien TB Paru terhadap penyakitnya dipengaruhi oleh kondisi fisik dan psikologis, sehingga diperlukan suatu sistem pendukung baik dari luar maupun dari dalam diri klien sendiri. Salah satu upaya yang perlu dilakukan adalah mempertahankan efikasi diri klien sehingga dapat mencapai kesembuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan karakteristik dan tahap pengobatan dengan efikasi diri klien TB Paru. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling untuk menentukan 161 klien TB Paru di poliparu RSP X Kabupaten Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden memiliki efikasi diri baik (68,3%). Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan ada hubungan bermakna antara pendidikan dengan efikasi diri (p:0,039, α:0,05), pekerjaan dengan efikasi diri (p:0,035, α:0,05), pendapatan dengan efikasi diri (p:0,004, α:0,05) dan tahap pengobatan dengan efikasi diri (p:0,003, α:0,05). Pendidikan kesehatan yang terstruktur disarankan diberikan secara efektif.

ABSTRACTTuberculosis treatment is a long term treatment and can cause side effects. Controling clients with pulmonary tuberculosis influence by physical and psychological condition and need a support system from outside and the client with pulmonary tuberculosis itself. One of the efforts is the self efficacy to defined and measured to maintain the achieve healing. The objective of this study were to identify the relation of characteristic and stage of treatment with the self efficacy of the clients with pulmonary tuberculosis. This research use a cross sectional design. The Sampling by purposive sampling to determine 161 clients of Pulmonary Tuberculosis at pulmonary polyclinic RSP X Kabupaten Bogor. The results showed the majority of respondents have a good self efficacy till 68,3%. By using chi square test showed there was a significant correlation between education with self efficacy (p:0,039, α:0,05), works with self efficacy (p:0,035, α:0,05), revenue with self efficacy (p:0,004, α: 0.05) and treatment stage with self efficacy (p: 0.003, α:0.05). Structured health education is recommended to be given effectively.
