ABSTRAKDalam proyek di industri minyak dan gas, intensitas dapat bervariasi dari waktu ke waktu, dan variasi ini menyebabkan aspek dinamis dari kompleksitas proyek. Kegagalan dalam mencapai ketepatan waktu proyek, biaya yang dianggarkan, dan kualitas tertentu menyebabkan pengaruh negatif yang tidak diinginkan dalam suatu proyek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengurangi keterlambatan proyek EPC pada industri minyak dan gas.Penelitian ini menghasilkan project planning yang disempurnakan dengan metode business process reengineering dengan waktu proses bisnis setelah perbaikan pada fase engineering berkurang menjadi 29,19 hari dengan peningkatan efisiensi 55% dan pengurangan waktu proses pada fase procurement menjadi 49,03 dengan peningkatan efisiensi 35%.

ABSTRACT

In projects in the oil and gas industry, the intensity may vary from time to time, and this variation underscores the dynamic aspect of the complexity of the project. The failure to achieve targeted time, budgeted cost, and specified quality result in various unexpected negative effects on the projects. The objective of this study is to reduce delays of EPC projects in the oil and gas.

This study resulted in improved project planning with business process reengineering method with the time of new process after improvement on the engineering phase is reduced to 29,19 days with an efficiency up to 55% and 49,03 days on the procurement phase with an efficiency up to 35%.
