[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menjelaskan sebuah cerita tentang kehidupan wanita di dalam lirik lagu Survivor oleh Destiny Child (2001). Yang didiskusikan dari penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana kehidupan wanita direpresentasikan ke dalam lirik lagu Survivor melalui Analisis Wacana gramatikal dan lexical aspek. Teori Sumarlam akan menjadi kunci untuk menganalisis lirik lagu Survivor berdasarkan kategori gramatikal dan lexical aspek. Hasil temuan dari penelitian menunjukan meskipun para wanita terkadang mengalami kesulitan dalam menjalani hubungan, namun mereka dapat mengatasi hidup yang sulit dengan bertahan agar mendapatkan kebebasan dan juga bisa menjadi wanita yang mandiri. Penelitian ini dikontribusikan ke dalam analisis teks mengapa di dalam lirik lagu survivor menjelaskan fakta bahwa wanita itu sebenarnya kuat ABSTRACT This research describes a story about woman‟s life in the song lyrics ?Survivor‟ by Destiny Child (2001).
