 Abstrak

[ABSTRAK
Banjir sudah menjadi fenomena yang sering dijumpai di setiap wilayah di Indonesia. Krisis air bersih merupakan salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat saat banjir. Alat Portable water purifier merupakan solusi alternatif dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Alat ini memanfaatkan prinsip kerja filtrasi dan adsorpsi dalam proses penjernihan air. Unit filtrasi yang digunakan adalah mesh dan serat saringan mikron, unit adsorpsi yang digunakan adalah kombinasi adsorben antara zeolit dan karbon aktif. Kriteria yang ditinjau adalah kualitas produk berupa konsentrasi TDS, warna dan kekeruhan serta aspek hidrodinamis berupa penurunan tekanan dan debit. Alat ini dapat menghasilkan
produk air bersih dengan kapasitas 80 L/ 216 menit dan kualitas produk (konsentrasi TDS, warna dan kekeruhan) memenuhi nilai batasan maksimum yang diperbolehkan PERMENKES RI 416/MENKES/PER/IX/199.

ABSTRACT
Flood has become a phenomenon that often prevail in every region in indonesia. Clean water crisis is one of the main problems faced by the community. A portable water purifier is the alternative solution to solve this problem.This instrument used the working principle in the process of filtration and adsorption. Filtration unit used mesh and micro fibers and adsorption unit used combination of zeolite and activated carbon . The criteria that will be analyzed is the quality of product output including concentration of TDS, color and turbidity and also hydrodinamic aspect including pressure drop and volume volumetric. This instrument can produce clean water products with the capacity of 80L/216 minutes and quality of product (concentration of TDS, color and turbidity) fulfill the maximum limit that permitted by PERMENKES RI 416/MENKES/PER/IX/199., Flood has become a phenomenon that often prevail in every region in indonesia.
